Greetings SplinterLovers 💛

Something I forgot to complete is the "Campaign Mode." Although I wrote a post several months ago detailing what it was, how it worked, what you had to do, and some content from the chapters I completed at the time, I like to bring some more practical things to my blog, so this time I'll give some details on how to complete these chapters, plus some in-depth recommendations for those who are newer to the game. While they can get started without too many setbacks, they need to know the basics to tackle the "Frontier Format," which is the next door that newbies must open to continue advancing.

After all this, the next thing is the "Modern Format," which I talked about in my previous post. Here, the level is very different, but before that, you must learn, and I think the perfect setting for this is "Frontier," since you can only use one SET of cards, which is "Foundations." Of course, your enemies in battle are the same, so there's nothing better than learning by going out into the field and practicing. That's why I'll also give tips on how to play and what you should keep in mind to improve. I'm sure that if you apply what I'll discuss in this post, you'll become an excellent player.

For now, and before continuing with the development, I will leave you with two posts. The first was when I talked about "Campaign Mode," and the second was the last one I published, discussing "Modern Format" in detail, which will help you learn.

How can I quickly progress through the chapters of "Book 1" in campaign mode?

Okay, for new users who are having trouble getting through the chapters because they don't understand the game or find the later chapters a little more complicated where the NPCs are better at their game, you should do what I'm about to tell you to try to complete them successfully. I'll also give you some gaming lessons so you can take advantage of them and prepare yourself for what "Frontier" is all about:

• When you click to enter the chapter and complete the mission according to the chronology of the story, it is best to read each of the texts in the chapters, as each one gives you little tips to help you learn. Try not to skip any of them, because they all teach you something very useful about gameplay. In fact, in the image above, I am already in chapter 5, and it is already teaching me how the "Armor or Shield" works in the game.

• When you click on "Enter Arena," the team selection screen will appear so you can battle your current teacher. In this team selection, you must choose your "Archon." Then, the teacher will give you some lessons on how to play your cards. In this case, as you can see in the previous image, he tells us that we should play "Dread Tafarian" as our tank, that is, in the first position, so that we can see how he protects us from enemy attacks without damaging his health points.

• After this, what you have to do is arrange your team accordingly. In this case, the teacher told us to play our "Tank," the card with the most life and armor, in the first position. After that, the selection of cards, in this specific case, is made by the type of attack, knowing that "Melee" attacks go first and then the "Axe Throwers" that attack from a distance. This is the order because the latter cards usually cannot attack from the first position.

With these recommendations, you should easily pass all the chapters that have been published so far. This way, you can earn as many "Foundations" cards as possible and move on to the "Frontier Format," where you will battle real players and face your next big test to learn about gameplay.

Recommendations for playing the "Frontier Format" correctly?

After completing "Campaign Mode," the "Frontier" format is the next gateway. Of course, once you complete at least "Book 1" of "Campaign Mode," you will have the complete set of 42 cards from the "Foundations" edition, which will allow you to play "Frontier" without any problems. However, it's not as easy as it seems. The games are played under equal conditions, and the decks are the same, so skill, creativity, and playing the right element deck are vital to victory. That's why I'm going to give you some recommendations to improve your game.

Observe the enemy's latest formations: This is essential in order to make the best possible decision, since we all use the same deck of cards. By looking at the last moves your opponent has made, you can discern which element or deck is ideal to counter it, or, failing that, learn your enemy's strategy and apply it. This will help you win many battles.

Choose the right "Archon": This is crucial to winning a battle, since each "Archon" in "Foundations" has a specific ability: one gives speed, another gives magical attack, health points, shield, and finally, the "Splinter of Death" reduces the health of enemy units by 1 point. Knowing which one to play by observing your opponent's lineups in conjunction with the battle rules will give you a better chance of winning the battle.

Read the rules: It is important to know the rules, now called "Modifiers," since they determine the direction the battle will take. By knowing them and applying everything mentioned above, you will be able to get ahead of your rivals and take advantage of every situation. Of course, I'm not saying you'll win every battle, but at least you'll win most of them and complete your daily missions to keep earning rewards.

Conclusion

With all these recommendations, new users will be able to learn and improve on the battlefield. I highly recommend that if you are new, even if you have the funds to enter, you first try these game modes so that you can familiarize yourself with the gameplay and the ecosystem. That way, when you enter the "Modern Format," you will already be well on your way.
