This card presents us with a really charismatic magician, a man whose expression reflects intelligence, cunning and even a touch of mischief I could say, as for his design, the first thing that stands out is his well-groomed mustache that gives him an air of arrogance, he wears an elegant and striking outfit, covered by a long coat of blue tones that is mixed with lighter colored clothes with golden details that makes him look amazing.

Although what really captures my attention are the magical elements that surround him, but first we must highlight his glasses, which have a pink color linked with fuchsia that seem to see beyond what people really think, and his hands that manipulate cards wrapped in a luminous purple energy, which demonstrates his great magical power with the ability to not only combine it with darkness, but also with the fire that consumes everything in its path. Finally, he has a sort of "Orb" floating around him, which does not seem to be summoned by magic, but rather by some sort of unknown technology.

In the background of the card, we can see the emblematic purple and orange colors that identify the Splinters of "Death and Fire", this makes the figure of Lorkus stand out even more with all the details that it has, basically the illustration of this card reflects a true master of magic, which just by seeing it and as I said, shows charisma combined with class and the truth is that it is a card that attracts much attention and more when you can use 2 in one, which makes it even more interesting.

As a "Legendary Archon", Lorkus is a strategic beast that costs 7 mana points. His main ability is a gift for any team: grants +1 melee damage (Melee) and +1 magic damage (Magic) to all your units, making him an "Offensive" focused summoner with 2 of the main attack types in the game, showing great power.

But Lorkus goes further, as it allows you to choose between two powerful combinations of skills to give two of your units this power, which is called "Summoner Tactics", although it should be called "Archon Tactics", in any case, these combinations are the following:

• Option 1: Life Leech y Affliction:This turns your monsters into healing and weakening machines, with Life Leech, each attack manages to grant more life points to these units, making them almost immortal and with Affliction, you prevent the enemies from healing, becoming a nightmare for the opponent, especially for those who use combinations based on the healing of their units.

• Option 2: Fury y Trample: If frontal attack is your thing, this is your best option, Fury causes double damage when the enemy has the "Taunt" ability, which draws all attacks towards it and Trample, which allows your monsters to attack one more time as long as they eliminate an opponent, thus being a devastating combo to clear the battlefield.

• Melee Mayhem/ Super Sneak/ Stampede: These are the rules where melee damage is key, so the increased power of Lorkus is fundamental.

• Explosive Weaponry: More damage in general, since attacking an enemy also causes damage to those around him, so Lorkus' increased power is crucial to amplify the damage in this rule.

• Rise of the Commons (Ascenso de los Comunes): If you can only use common cards, Lorkus' power boost to the whole team is even more valuable.

Worst Rules Lorkus ❌

• Silence: If you rely too much on magic damage, this rule will nullify that +1 power, so you should avoid using Lorkus in these conditions.

• Demoralize: If your main strategy is the "Melee" attack, the -1 damage of "Demoralize" could counteract the increased power that Lorkus gives to this type of attack, so be careful.

• Healed Out: This rule can be negative for Lorkus if you choose to increase the offensive power of your units using the option n°2 explained above, since, if you use the brute force power, you will most likely not be able to protect your allied units, leaving some of them unprotected, so it is a rule to be careful, it is not crucial, but it can be detrimental.

The effectiveness of Lorkus is extremely high, especially when combined with the right units, the synergy with the legendary dragon Usut is legendary: Usut, with his "Bloodlust" ability, becomes practically "unkillable " thanks to Lorkus' Life Leech, gaining life with every hit and managing to defeat other opponent's units, this practically turns Usut into a monster impossible to defeat with the help of the Archon.
