Análisis de las cartas “Exclusivas” en Splinterlands (Kelan Gaines) [EN-ES]

Weeks ago I started this series of publications in which I focus on explaining in detail how the cards in the Splinterlands "Exclusive" store work, and at the time of writing this publication I have detailed all the cards that have been released in the store, so, we are only missing a single card; and that is "Kelan Gaines", a rare card of double element quite interesting and very powerful.
This is the last card that has been released in the exclusive store of "Splinterlands" as I already mentioned, and also of course the last card that came out with the frame of the "Rebellion" edition, the rest of the cards that come out in this store where you can only use $VOUCHER to buy them, will come out with the frame of the new edition of "Conclave Arcana", so, let's make the most of this card, learn about it and above all I hope you learn a lot with this kind of content.

Kelan Gaines (Statistics and Design)
This time I will go more to the point and of course as usual, we will start with the design and then continue with its powerful statistics:
Design
The design of this last card that came out under the "Rebellion" edition is spectacular, I loved it, in my opinion they closed with a flourish this edition that brought innovation and freshness to all Splinterlands. Basically it is a warrior with magical powers and an impressive speed, having the powers of both elements, both of darkness, in this case representing the "Splinter of Death" and the most powerful of all, the "Splinter of Dragon".
The finishes and illustration are quite well done, the shading, the clothing go excellent with what the figure shows, so, this design work is quite well done, as always, congratulations to the "Splinterlands" team for such an excellent job.
Statistics
As I mentioned at the beginning, this is a "Rare" dual element card available in Death and Dragon Splinters, on its own, it has very good stats, although as always, it's the abilities that boost its power, but, its default stats are amazing, so let's see what they are:
Mana cost: This card has a mana cost of 8, which is pretty good, it's neither too low, nor too high, I would say it's balanced overall with everything it can do, so I really like the ease with which this card can be summoned.
Attack and Speed: The truth is that, from its lowest level, this card is extremely powerful with its stats alone, since from level 1 it possesses 2 points of magic attack and 5 of speed, while at level 8, it possesses 3 points of magic attack and 6 of speed, which is insane.
Life points and Defense: With the life points, the same thing happens as in the attack, basically in either case, this at the lowest level or at the highest, is a very resistant card, for example, at the lowest level has 6 life points, and at the highest 9, which is great, the only thing missing is to have shield points, but it does not have them.
Skills of "Kelan Gaines" and its best rules
This is one of the parts that I like the most of the publications I do, referring to these in specific where I detail the cards, so yes, they are the skills, as these are the ones that give us unprecedented power to win the battle, so, in this section we will see what their skills are and in which rules it is better to play it to have greater chances of success:
Abilities
Snipe: We all know the ability of "Snipe", the truth is that it is quite useful, however, you have to know how to use it, because the chances that we counter the move, is quite high, the effects should already know them, but, for those who do not know, here I leave it. Basically the holder of this ability focuses on attacking the cards with the "Range and Magic" type of attacks and without attack, it can be very good, but, at the same time harmful, so you have to play it carefully.
Phase: This ability is quite good, but it is more focused on the "Defensive", basically the effect of this ability is that, the possessor card has probabilities that the magic attacks fail, which is very good, especially because the speed of this card is quite high, so, the probabilities that this kind of attack fail are quite high.
Backfire: This is another skill that is also focused on "Defensive" and its effect is based on the fact that, every time the opponent misses an attack, he will receive -2 health points directly, which makes a very good combination with the previous skill called "Phase", so, on the defensive side, it has a good protection without a doubt.
Double Strike: This is one of the destructive abilities I talked about in another post, with this ability the card can attack 2 times in the same round, and this card having +3 magic attack points, can cause +6 points of damage in a single round, which is a lot.
With these 4 skills, there is a perfect balance between "Offensive and Defensive", so, it is quite powerful this card, if we know how to position it, plus you can risk it in a more compromising position, since its speed is not only a weapon of attack, but of defense.
Rules where to play
I have basically no specific rules where to play it, however, my recommendation is to play the card specifically in rules that benefit the magic attack, for this I don't need to tell you which ones, many of them are self-described, these are the best rules where these cards should be used.

Hace semanas que inicie con esta serie de publicaciones en las que me enfoco en explicar cómo funcionan en detalle las cartas de la tienda “Exclusiva” de Splinterlands, ya al momento de escribir esta publicación he detallado todas las cartas que han sido lanzadas en dicha tienda, por lo que, solo nos falta una sola carta; y esas es “Kelan Gaines”, una carta rara de doble elemento bastante interesante y muy poderosa.
Esta es la última carta que ha sido lanzada en la tienda exclusiva de “Splinterlands” como ya comenté, y también por supuesto la última carta que salió con el marco de la edición de “Rebellion”, el resto de las cartas que salgan en esta tienda en donde solo se pueden utilizar $VOUCHER para comprarlas, saldrán con el marco de la nueva edición de “Conclave Arcana”, así que, aprovechemos esta carta al máximo, aprendamos sobre ella y sobre todo espero que aprendan mucho con este tipo de contenido.

Kelan Gaines (Estadísticas y Diseño)
En esta ocasión voy a ir más al grano y por supuesto como es la costumbre, vamos a comenzar por el diseño para luego proseguir con lo que son sus poderosas estadísticas:
Diseño
El diseño de esta última carta que salió bajo el marco de la edición de “Rebellion” es espectacular, me encanto, en mi opinión cerraron con broche de oro esta edición que trajo innovación y frescura a todo Splinterlands. Básicamente se trata de un guerrero con poderes mágicos y una velocidad impresionante, teniendo los poderes de ambos elementos, tanto de la oscuridad, en este caso representando al “Splinter de Muerte” como al más poderoso de todos, el “Splinter de Dragon”.
Los acabados y la ilustración están bastante bien realizadas, los sombreados, el ropaje van excelente con lo que muestra la figura, por lo que, este trabajo de diseño está bastante bien realizado, como siempre, felicidades al equipo de “Splinterlands” por tan excelente trabajo.
Estadísticas
Como mencione al principio, esta es una carta “Rara” de doble elemento disponible en los Splinters de Muerte y Dragón, por si sola, tiene muy buenas estadísticas, aunque como siempre, son las habilidades lo que potencian su poder, pero, sus estadísticas por defecto están increíbles, así que veamos cuales son:
Costo de mana: Esta carta posee un costo de mana de 8, lo que es bastante bueno, no es ni muy bajo, ni tampoco muy alto, diría que esta equilibrada en conjunto con todo lo que puede realizar, así que me gusta mucho la facilidad con la que se puede convocar esta carta.
Ataque y Velocidad: La verdad es que, desde su nivel más bajo, esta carta es sumamente poderosa solo con sus estadísticas, ya que desde el nivel 1 posee 2 puntos de ataque mágico y 5 de velocidad, mientras que en el nivel 8, posee 3 puntos de ataque mágico y 6 de velocidad, lo que es una locura.
Puntos de vida y Defensa: Con los puntos de vida, pasa lo mismo que en el ataque, básicamente en cualquiera de los casos, este en el nivel más bajo o en el más alto, es una carta muy resistente, por ejemplo, en el nivel más bajo tiene 6 puntos de vida, y en el alto 9, lo que es genial, lo único que le falta es tener puntos de escudo, pero, no los tiene.
Habilidades de “Kelan Gaines” y sus mejores reglas
Esta es una de las partes que más me gusta de las publicaciones que hago, refiriéndome a estas en específico en donde detallo las cartas, así que si, son las habilidades, ya que estas son las que nos brindan un poder sin precedentes para ganar la batalla, así que, en esta sección veremos cuáles son sus habilidades y en cuales reglas es mejor jugarlo para tener mayores probabilidades de éxito:
Habilidades
Snipe: Todos conocemos la habilidad de “Snipe”, la verdad es que es bastante útil, sin embargo, hay que saber utilizarla, ya que las posibilidades de que nos contrarresten la jugada, es bastante alta, los efectos ya deben de conocerlos, pero, para el que no lo sepa, aquí lo dejo. Básicamente el poseedor de esta habilidad se enfoca en atacar a las cartas con los tipos de ataques de “Rango y Mágico” y sin ataque, puede ser muy bueno, pero, a la vez perjudicial, así que hay que jugarlo con cuidado.
Phase: Esta habilidad es bastante buena, pero esta más enfocada en la “Defensiva”, básicamente el efecto de esta habilidad es que, la carta poseedora tiene probabilidades de que los ataques mágicos fallen, lo que es muy bueno, especialmente porque la velocidad de esta carta es bastante alta, por lo que, las probabilidades de que este tipo de ataque fallen son bastante altas.
Backfire: Esta es otra habilidad que también está enfocada en la “Defensiva” y su efecto se basa en que, cada vez que el oponente falle un ataque, este recibirá -2 puntos de vida directamente, lo que hace muy buena combinación con la habilidad anterior llamada “Phase”, así que, por el lado defensivo, tiene una buena protección sin duda.
Double Strike: Esta es una de las habilidades destructivas de las que hable en otro post, con esta habilidad la carta puede atacar 2 veces en una misma ronda, y esta carta teniendo +3 puntos de ataque mágico, puede causar +6 puntos de daño en una sola ronda, lo que es muchísimo.
Con estas 4 habilidades, existen un equilibrio perfecto entre “Ofensiva y Defensiva”, así que, es bastante poderosa esta carta, si sabemos posicionarla, ademas de que puedes arriesgarlo en una posición más comprometedora, puesto que su velocidad no solo es un arma de ataque, si no de defensa.
Reglas donde jugarlo
No tengo básicamente reglas específicas en donde jugarlo, sin embargo, mi recomendación es jugar la carta específicamente en reglas que beneficien el ataque mágico, para esto no es necesario que les comenté cuales, muchas de ellas se describen por sí mismas, estas son las mejores reglas donde se deben utilizar estas cartas.
Conclusión
