Chaos Golem as a Frontline Tank: How to Identify the Perfect Tank Monster

Chaos Golem is a very good Splinterlands monster whose abilities I am very impressed with. Today I got a chance to use this monster as a front line tank and take full benefit from its abilities.

This is especially very good for high mana battles and according to me it is known as the best front line tank. Because of his high health and armor which can deal with high damage and keep on absorbing damage come from enemy units.

If I talk about Chaos Golem its mana cost is 9 which is considered as high mana. According to me its best ability is its health which is 10 and its armor is 4. This means it is the best option for a front line tank monster.

Besides this it has another great ability called “Return Fire”. This means when any enemy does a ranged attack it returns 50% of that damage back to the attacker. This is its most powerful ability.

This ability will weaken the attackive unit of enemy. Because with every hit they will get 50% of the attack which hits their health.

Todays battle was high mana in which I made a very great victory. Once again I won in a high mana battle. I think my monster selection was very good. My positioning was best which helped me win the battle.

I selected 7 monsters and the opponent also selected 7 monsters. According to my old strategy I first placed 2 front tank monsters whose health and armor were the highest so that they could continuously absorb damage.

This is to keep in mind for the new users who are playing Splinterlands that how you can consider any monster as a tank. You must note their health and armor. If you see that their health and armor are of high levels then that monster can be considered as a tank. Also keep in mind the other abilities and the signs you can see in the image of that card.

In the midline I placed offensive and attacking monsters which kept attacking every round with 3 and 4 attacks and kept damaging and eliminating enemy units.

In the backline I included attack and supportive monsters which showed very good performance in team combination.

Todays battle was very excellent. The most interesting thing was that not even one of my monsters was eliminated while I destroyed all enemy units. Such a win is really a great win.
