HoloZing Contest 💠| My Zero to Hero Journey - I’m the League Champion! 👑 [EN/PT]
We are nearing the end of the HoloZing Contest, an event that was named “The League”, with several different challenges and some Twists along the way. For me, this event was what some know as the Hero's Journey, starting with 0 Points and now reaching the sixth challenge (part 1) as the first place among several others, who are great members of the Hive.
In this penultimate challenge, the objective is to present reasons why I am the champion of the league. The way I chose to do this is through a recap of my journey so far, telling a little about my contribution to the HoloZing project throughout the challenges. Since more than just completing the challenges, I always sought to contribute with ideas and suggestions that could really help the project. Challenge 00: The Journey Begins from Zer0 ❌
It all starts with the first introductory “challenge” of the HoloZing Contest “The League”, in which participants could share a screenshot of the amount of Holo Dust to receive the first points based on the amount. Unfortunately, I had no Holo Dust, which made me start from ZERO, with literally 0 points. However, complaining doesn’t get me anywhere; the important thing is to be ready for the next challenge.
This difficult start served as fuel for me to do my best in the next challenges. After all, the biggest truth is that if nothing was done, I would currently have 0 points, and now I would be in last place, but by participating in the challenges I would have a chance and this number would increase, depending only on my effort. I believe I did my best, starting from scratch with the phrase “I would like to participate”, reaching the current position as Top 1 with 2135 points, participating in all Challenges and Twists so far, doing my best to collaborate with the Event and with HoloZing, which we will observe below!
Challenge 02: My World has a Guild! 🏰
In this Challenge 02 the theme was quite open, it depends on the participant's imagination to create new content for the HoloZing. My contribution of new content to HoloZing was the addition of the guild system to the game, calling it HoloGuild. The reason is that in all MMO games the presence of guilds makes players work together and promotes interaction between them to complete quests and defeat monsters. Therefore, an internal PVP system, quests and battles requiring the use of HoloZing creatures makes perfect sense.
Challenge 04: HoloZing Content Creators x Marketing! 🌐
Web3 games have not reached anywhere near the potential they can reach, because when we compare the user base, regular games have WAY more players. Therefore, it is clear that there is a problem in reaching this user and bringing him to Web3, due to the learning curve of this new technology. In this 4th challenge the proposal was to present some possible content creators for HoloZing's marketing.
In my case, I went further by looking for some creators who had already worked with Hive before, so they are already more familiar and can help in different ways. Ice_NFTs would be a perfect content creator since he has already participated as a Host in an InLeo campaign creating some Spaces on X and is a Web2 gamer, so he could bridge the gap between players and Web3. Web3 Global, on the other hand, is more focused on Space events with several projects and also in-person events, so he would help HoloZing become known to more people.
Plot Twist - Earth Team Wins!
This was definitely my favorite Plot Twist of the HoloZing Contest because in it the contestants had the goal of creating a new creature for the HoloZing is divided into teams by Elements, so it was really fun to see the creatures that people created, each one very different and unique.
The team I was part of had as the element Earth, and in honor of Hive - Blockchain where HoloZing is being developed - I chose to create an Earth element bee called DigBee and it was very detailed, presenting everything from its origin to its 4 abilities. Estamos chegando ao fim do HoloZing Contest, um evento que recebeu o nome de “The League”, com diversos desafios diferentes e alguns Twists no meio do caminho. Para mim esse evento foi o que alguns conhecem como a Jornada do Herói, começando com 0 Pontos e chegando agora no sexto desafio (parte 1) como o primeiro colocado dentre diversos outros, que são grandes membros da Hive.
Nesse penúltimo desafio, o objetivo é apresentar motivos do porque eu sou o campeão da liga. A forma que eu escolhi para fazer isso é através de um Recap de como foi a minha jornada até o momento, contando um pouco da minha contribuição ao projeto do HoloZing ao longo dos desafios. Já que mais do que apenas completar os desafios eu sempre busquei colaborar com ideias e sugestões que pudessem realmente ajudar o projeto. Challenge 00: A Jornada Começa do Zer0 ❌
Tudo começa já no primeiro “desafio” de introdução do HoloZing Contest “The League”, em que os participantes poderiam compartilhar uma print da quantidade de Holo Dust para receber os primeiros pontos com base na quantidade. Infelizmente, eu não tinha Holo Dust o que me fez começar do ZERO, com literalmente 0 pontos. Entretanto, reclamar não leva a lugar nenhum, o importante é estar pronto para o próximo desafio.
Esse início difícil serviu de combustível para que nos próximos desafios eu fizesse o meu melhor. Afinal, a maior verdade é que se nada fosse feito estaria atualmente com 0 pontos, e agora eu estaria no último lugar, mas participando dos desafios eu teria uma chance e esse número aumentaria, dependendo apenas do meu empenho. Acredito ter feito o possível, começando do Zero com uma frase “Eu gostaria de Participar”, chegando na posição atual como Top 1 com 2135 pontos, participando de todas as Challenges e Twist até o momento, dando o meu melhor para colaborar com o Evento e com o HoloZing, que iremos observar abaixo!
Challenge 02: My World has a Guild! 🏰
Nessa Challenge 02 o tema era bem em aberto, dependo da imaginação do participante em criar um novo conteúdo para o HoloZing. A minha contribuição de novo conteúdo para o HoloZing foi a adição do sistema de guild no jogo, chamando-o de HoloGuild. O motivo é que em todos os jogos MMO a presença de guild faz com que os jogadores trabalhem em conjunto e promove a interação entre eles para realizar quests e derrotar monstros. Assim, um sistema de PVP interno, quests e batalhas sendo necessário o uso das criaturas de HoloZing faz todo o sentido.
Challenge 04: HoloZing Content Creators x Marketing! 🌐
Os jogos Web3 ainda não atingiram nem próximo do potencial que eles podem alcançar, porque quando comparamos a base de usuários os jogos normais tem MUITO mais jogadores. Assim, percebe-se que há uma problema em chegar nesse usuário e trazer ele até a Web3, por conta da curva de aprendizagem dessa nova tecnologia. Nesse 4º desafio a proposta foi de apresentar alguns possíveis criadores de conteúdo para o marketing do HoloZing.
No meu caso eu fui mais além procurando alguns criadores que já haviam trabalhado com a Hive antes, então já estão mais familiarizados e podem ajudar de diferentes forma. O Ice_NFTs seria um criador de conteúdo perfeito já que ele já participou como Host de uma campanha da InLeo fazendo alguns Spaces no X e é um gamer de Web2, então ele poderia fazer a ponte dos jogadores para a Web3. Já o Web3 Global é mais voltado para eventos de Space com diversos projetos e também evento presenciais, então ele ajudaria o HoloZing à ser conhecido por mais pessoas.
Plot Twist - Earth Team Wins!
Esse foi definitivamente o meu Plot Twist favorito do HoloZing Contest porque nele os participantes tinham como objetivo criar uma nova criatura para o HoloZing em times separados por Elementos, então foi bem divertido ver as criaturas que o pessoal criou, cada uma bem diferente e única.
O time que eu fiz parte teve como elemento a Terra, e em homenagem à Hive - Blockchain que o HoloZing está sendo desenvolvido - escolhi criar uma abelha do elemento Terra chamada DigBee e ficou bem detalhado, apresentando desde a origem até suas 4 habilidades.
