My coworker and I talked a lot about food. I said that I could make us some food and we had the idea that I could make Philly Cheese Steak again. So I bought the stuff that I needed for our late shift.
I got a nice piece of rump steak (300gr) which I frosted for 15 minutes so I could cut it in thin stripes.
I salted the slices and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
I prepared the spring onions already at home.
A complete pack mild cheddar because there was no provolone in the store.
I cutted the cheddar into small pieces.
Hot chilli crunch oil for cooking and topping later.
Cooking the meat with high heat and adding a bit from the chilli crunch oil.
After the meat is almost fully cooked I added the spring onions and a bit later the cheese. I go down to medium heat. Just melting the cheese.
The bread was a rustical stone oven baguette which took around 10 minutes in the oven. I cutted it in half and sliced it up. Added the meat on it and here is the result.
My coworker was moaning with every bite and told me how delicious it is. I couldn't agree more. It's probably not like the original but it's homemade and very yummy.
Thanks for reading.

That sandwich looks really good. I have to try it, too. ๐
It was really perfect. The crust of the baguette, the super tender juicy meat and the oozing cheese. That's what I call food porn. I could eat another one right now.
