Every Step Counts

We are all operating in different time zones. One person might be succeeding now, another might be struggling, and another might just have begun their career, but overall, we are all heading in the right direction, and it’s very normal to arrive at our destination somewhat late or early.

Like I always say, belittling your wins will only cause you more harm than good. You don’t need to build a mansion or buy your dream car before you can celebrate or feel accomplished. Those WINS you consider little or irrelevant are just the right motivation you need to push you further. They aren’t trash, rather they are stepping stones, and you need to celebrate every one of them.

Before now, whenever I heard or saw people doing amazing things, I used to feel like nothing was happening in my life. I mean, my life was great but I always felt like I hadn’t done anything outstanding to blow people’s minds and this continued for a long time until I had a wake-up call.

On that day, I reflected on my life. Two years ago the things I thought I would never be able to buy, I have been able to buy them without breaking the bank and so many other things that I thought I wouldn’t be able to achieve,I have been able to achieve them effortlessly so Yes! I have been winning all these times without me celebrating or giving credit to myself.

While we sometimes get carried away by the things we don’t have, we forget the things we have. A typical example is my Hive earnings.

From the onset, Hive has been a passive income to me. Until I need extra cash for something, I don’t withdraw and as a result of this I don’t withdraw every time and I also don’t keep track of what I earn in a week or month. In my head, I’m like “It doesn’t give me so much, it’s just a passive income”.

For the first time in two and half years here I decided to keep track of my weekly earnings on Hive and oh boy I was blown away, it sure gives me much for something I do not go under the sun to hustle for or do not need to stress over.

Since this wonderful discovery, I have learnt to treat Hive with more respect and to celebrate myself.
Two years ago my wallet wasn’t like this and I could only dream and hope I get to this level but here I am living my dream and doing even better than my dream, boy! That’s a whole lot of achievement and congratulations to me!🥳.

Some people you know might be currently buying lands, estates, and cars, congratulations to them, and also celebrate with them but never use their success story as a yardstick for measuring your own success story because you would only end up being under unnecessary pressure and you’d be hurting yourself.

It can only get better. While we continue to do our best, we should never ever belittle our little beginnings, because they're what we can look back to and be proud of where we are coming from.
