It has been a while, but I got a nudge from some our feathered friends that they want to be included in the latest post about bills.
Not bills as in American Dollars, but bills for birds ðĶĒðĶ.
So all pictures are from our local park, which is Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.
You will probably see wee brown pellets which are swan and duck food that I get shipped from Amazon monthly.
It is a monthly subscription and paid for from Hive, which is pretty fluffing cool.
We start off with Mr and Mrs Mallard showing some nice billage!
As we are talking about bills of birds or beaks, I had to pop in this picture of one of the swan kids..
Their bills are black and they almost blend in with brown fuzzy head so don't really contrast each other.
Yes it has to be mummy that shows us her bill. Look at the contrast with the white head and body.
An adult mute swan which this is have a long flattened orange bill (beak) under a black base.
So which side gets your vote?
One problem we have is seagulls. They are a fluffing nuisance and of course there are umteen varieties that fall under the generic term.
The swans don't care it it's a tern or a gull, they are not getting their food. I try to shoo them away too.
Now they have beaks not bills. To me bills are flat and belong to the ducks and swans.
Before we go I shall have to show you Mr and Mrs Mallard having a married tiff. Just look at that.
This post though, is an entry for this week's Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 135
And I shall pick this one for the entry ðĶĒðĶĒðĶĒ
Do you see the drips, it's almost like a wee whirlpool!

The fifth pictures and the mallad really had a green head? ðĪ
Yes female mallards are brown, but it is the males who are colourful with their green head. The duck emoji ðĶ is a male mallard!

Aww, that entry photo is so cool, I love the drops of water and the circle they make under the swan's bill. Wonderful choice!
Gulls are always a nuisance. I think swans just put up with them.ð
Your photography is always something of wonder. I love all sides of the Momma Swan. She looks so good with her graceful pose. And I see they are comfortable with you. That is really beautiful.
We have a ton of seagulls too. They are the worst. They fly all over our parking lot at work because we are so close to the Saginaw Bay. They also really like to hang out on the roof of our maintenance building. Very nice shots you took here!
Are these goose or duck? Sure dont see any of those around here.. what a pretty featured beings, i love the white one particular maybe cause white is my favorite colour
