My Actifit Report Card: June 6 2024

Hallo liebe Hivians und Fitnessfreunde!

Am heutigen Tag gab es bei mir nichts besonderes. Gestern war ich dafür bei der Verlegung einer Stolperschwelle durch den Künstler Gunter Demnig. Ich hoffe ich komme in den nächsten Tagen dazu hierüber einen separaten Beitrag zu verfassen.

Am heutigen Abend war ich wieder beim Crossfit. Das heutige Workout bestand aus Rudern, Sit-ups und Dumbbell-Frontrack-Lunges.

Runde 1

1000m Rudern
4 Runden von jeweils 20 Sit-Ups und 10 Lunges

Runde 2

750 m Rudern
3 Runden von jeweils 20 Sit-Ups und 10 Lunges

1000m Rudern
4 Runden von jeweils 20 Sit-Ups und 10 Lunges

Als ich das Workout gelesen habe, habe ich gedacht, das es leicht machbar ist. Tatsächlich bin ich
aber am Ende ziemlich kaputt gewesen. Ich habe 27 Minuten und 8 Sekunden gebraucht und bin somit knapp im Zeitrahmen geblieben.

Morgen geht es weiter. Dann mache ich mit meiner Frau das erste von drei Qualifier-Workouts für den Beach-Showdown in Zandvoort. Unsere Chancen sind zwar nur sehr gering aber trotzdem werden wir es versuchen.

Today there was nothing special for me. Yesterday I was there to see the artist Gunter Demnig lay a tripping threshold. I hope I'll be able to write a separate post about this in the next few days.

This evening I was at Crossfit again. Today's workout consisted of rowing, sit-ups and dumbbell front rack lunges.

Round 1

1000m rowing
4 rounds of 20 sit-ups and 10 lunges each

Round 2

750m rowing
3 rounds of 20 sit-ups and 10 lunges each

Round 3

1000m rowing
4 rounds of 20 sit-ups and 10 lunges each

1000m rowing
4 rounds of 20 sit-ups and 10 lunges each# Round 1

When I read the workout, I thought it would be easy to do. In fact, I was pretty exhausted at the end. It took me 27 minutes and 8 seconds, which was just under the time limit.

Tomorrow we'll continue. Then I'll do the first of three qualifier workouts for the Beach Showdown in Zandvoort with my wife. Our chances are slim, but we'll try anyway.
