Migrating to Modern Ranked

Com as recentes mudanças nas filas ranqueadas do Splinterlands a Modern Ranked se tornou muito mais atrativa para todos os jogadores que desejam evitar os bots (que foram direcionados para a Wild Ranked) e disputar apenas contra outros humanos. Além disso, essa mudança também teve um grande impacto na distribuição de recompensas de SPS pois muitas contas que utilizam bots acabaram migrando para o Wild, fazendo com que as recompensas no Modern se tornassem muito mais valiosas.

Se você ainda tem dúvidas se deve ou não migrar de ranked, alguns dos meus amigos da @hive-br compartilharam informações que estão ganhando entre 2x~3x recompensas extras na ranked moderna (na mesma liga em ambas), esse lucro extra poderá ser um ótimo fator de decisão para que você migre de fila ranqueada. Também é importante considerar na sua análise que as cartas utilizadas no Modern são limitadas então talvez seja necessário cancelar alguns alugueis e fazer outros para tornar sua coleção viável para essa migração.

Desde que as rankeds foram separadas eu permaneci jogando na Wild pois possuo muitas cartas alugadas por preços incrivelmente baratos, entretanto com a diminuição das recompensas por conta da acumulação dos bots, estou considerando fazer essa migração. Esse processo levará algum tempo pois há muitas cartas que preciso alugar e outras que precisarei cancelar, além do fato que estou na liga Novice no Modern enquanto no Wild estou jogando atualmente no Gold I (serão alguns dias para conseguir alcançar minha liga atual).

Minha primeira meta será comprar os principais invocadores que podem ser utilizados na Modern para depois começar a estabelecer uma coleção mais robusta, e eu já comecei a executar esse plano fazendo algumas compras e criando BIDs no Peakmonsters.

Felizmente (para alguns pode ser infelizmente) os preços dessas cartas cairam bastante desde o início do Bear Market e está muito mais barato para comprar cartas, então investindo bem menos você poderá criar uma coleção muito mais robusta e aumentar sua chance de vencer mais partidas e consequentemente receber mais recompensas.

Eu iniciei essa longa jornada até alcançar novamente o Gold I e observei duas coisas pertinentes nas primeiras ligas. A primeira constatação é a força absoluta que o combo Lobb Lowland e Quora Towershead possuem nas ligas iniciais. Utilizar essa carta é praticamente garantia de vitória e eu consegui vencer todas as partidas basicamente spammando essa composição (exceto naquelas com mana insuficiente).

Além dessa constatação (que requer apenas jogar Brawls até dar sorte para receber a Quora), também percebi que existem muitas contas SLBB que possivelmente são contas que utilizam "battle helpers" para jogar, isso entra em um tipo de categoria diferente de automação que incialmente não foi abordada pelo banimento de bots mas que já está sendo tratado em uma nova proposta para proibir o uso dessas ferramentas que facilitem a criação de times.

Tudo está encaminhando para a Modern Ranked ser totalmente habitada por humanos e ter recompensas bem melhores que o Wild, acredito que esse seja um ótimo incentivo econômico para que mais pessoas voltem à jogar ativamente Splinterlands e com isso o jogo começe a evoluir mais no quesito jogabilidade. Essas mudanças são extremamente necessárias para um longo prazo sustentável para o jogo e essas mudanças mostraram uma luz muito positiva para nós!

With the recent changes in the ranked queues of Splinterlands, Modern Ranked has become much more appealing to all players who wish to avoid bots (which were directed to Wild Ranked) and compete only against other humans. Moreover, this change has also had a significant impact on the SPS reward distribution, as many bot-using accounts shifted to Wild, making rewards in Modern much more valuable.

If you're still unsure about migrating to the ranked queues, some of my friends from @hive-br shared that they are earning between 2x~3x extra rewards in Modern Ranked (within the same league as in Wild). This additional profit could be a great factor to consider when making the decision to switch. It's also essential to assess that the cards used in Modern are limited, so you might need to cancel some rentals and make others to make your collection viable for this migration.

Since the ranked queues were separated, I've been playing in Wild as I have many cards rented at incredibly cheap prices. However, with the decrease in rewards due to the accumulation of bots, I'm considering making this migration. It will take some time as there are many cards I need to rent and others I need to cancel, besides the fact that I'm currently in the Novice league in Modern while I'm currently playing at Gold I in Wild (it will take a few days to reach my current league).

My first goal will be to purchase the main summoners that can be used in Modern and then start building a more robust collection. I've already started executing this plan by making some purchases and placing BIDs on Peakmonsters.

Fortunately (or unfortunately for some), the prices of these cards have dropped significantly since the beginning of the Bear Market, making it much cheaper to purchase cards. So, by investing much less, you can create a much more robust collection and increase your chances of winning more matches and, consequently, receiving more rewards.

I've begun this long journey to reach Gold I again and observed two pertinent things in the early leagues. The first observation is the absolute power that the combo of Lobb Lowland and Quora Towershead holds in the initial leagues. Using this card is almost a guarantee of victory, and I managed to win all matches basically spamming this composition (except for those with insufficient mana).

Besides this observation (which only requires playing Brawls until you get lucky to receive Quora), I also noticed that there are many SLBB accounts, which are possibly accounts using "battle helpers" to play. This falls into a different category of automation that was not initially addressed by the banning of bots but is now being addressed in a new proposal to prohibit the use of such tools that facilitate team creation.

Everything is pointing towards Modern Ranked being fully inhabited by humans and having much better rewards than Wild. I believe this is a great economic incentive for more people to return to actively play Splinterlands, and with that, the game will evolve further in terms of gameplay. These changes are extremely necessary for a sustainable long-term for the game, and these changes have shown a very positive light for us!
