A day filled with good vibes here!

Pictures are from the supermoon in June

I was looking forward to capture the supermoon in June and the next one in July, I also had this fairy tale idea in my head where we'd be able to see the sunrise and set above the sea as well as have cool moon pictures each month because we live so close to the coast now. I was wrong! Little did I know that the full moon in June was going to be the one with the best pictures until now, simply because at that location we didn't have much light pollution compared to where we ended up renting eventually. This evening, I was bummed that the sky was not clear, but that's actually not that surprising whenever a cool thing in the sky is to be captured.

Too bad that there is not one picture where I could capture the actual full moon properly thanks to the unclear sky. And the unclear skies remained, even during the super hot months July and August, we always seem to have a layer (or 10) of sand in the air, you can taste it even when walking outside. Can't be good for ones health, if you ask me.

Today is a good day though!

I was browsing for pictures to go with my story for today and ended up using these because I feel it's a shame wasting them. The actual good news is about my boyfriend passing an exam he was super nervous about and finished with a good score 20 minutes before the time ended. That was the first happy moment of the day!

Simple solution, but so grateful!

Ever since we moved in to our home, we were dealing with a broken doorbell to open the front gate. We live in an apartment building which has many apartments in it and we also live all the way at the end of the hallway so whenever heavy packages arrived, the boyfriend needed to run to the front door, which is an issue sometimes working from home and being in meetings/calls lol. But the biggest issue with this was, even though I always left a note with my address to please call me because the doorbell is broken, the national post office seems to fail at this every single time. Meaning they leave a note (or not, this has happened too) and the I have to walk 30 minutes to the post office to get my (heavy or not so heavy) package and carry it uphill.

Today this all ended! Finally, the actual landlord (and not his brother who was first being told to arrange this) called the company for the reparation again and they came the next day (this morning). Turns out the doorbell inside was the issue and is now replaced by a new one. Just in time for the Christmas gifts to arrive so we could hide them in time for our daughter.

Such a simple thing that is fixed, but it already brings me great joy, haha. Gratitude for the little things is important, isn't it? :)
