[ENG/PT-BR] Strategy to evolve, total HP and effective HP.

Recently, talking to some members of the Brazilian community, I was in doubt about what would be the best strategy to evolve within Hive. Of course, this evolution depends a lot on what each one wants and desires for their future.

I usually say that here we have everything, people who post for the pleasure of sharing knowledge, for the therapy that is to get involved in really cool projects and with wonderful people and with everything we can learn, whether with good or bad events, everyone here is subject to that and going well beyond that, we also have those who want to have a second income from Hive.

I believe that I fit in some points, such as, for example, involvement with communities (mainly the Brazilian HiveBR), meeting people from my tribe, being people connected to games and the technology area and having Hive as a form of second income for me.

Ok, but what would be the best strategy?

This point, reinforcing, is subjective, so I am not someone to judge what is right or wrong, so I will comment on my strategy that I follow at the moment and the reason for it, but first, I need to share some details so that everyone understands the context.

I currently have 5,289.490 of Hive Power and the date of my entry into Hive was May 8, 2021, and as we can see, I have a good part delegated and an effective HP (the HP that I actually use in my account) of 1,408.018.

Today I have the experience and firmness to write more calmly about a subject that many people know about, but there still seems to be a taboo about it, being about the projects in which you delegate your HP and in return you can receive some votes in your posts.

It's something common, great characters from Hive already do this, because after all, everything is visible here, so it's easy to observe these details and as I usually say, I don't see why some even think this is wrong, after all, as in reality, it's your money, you invest in what you think is best for you.

There are also some projects in which you burn a certain token and in exchange you get a boost in your posts, again I say that I don't see a problem with that, each project has its particularity, its functioning and I think this diversity is very interesting, for an ecosystem to function respecting the ideas and people who are here.

With that, my delegations can be seen below:

Then you ask me: why do you delegate most of your HP to these projects?

And I answer that each one has its own characteristic and purpose for my life project here at Hive. Quickly explaining about four very distinct ones that are:

• @helios.voter: We can earn Helios tokens for holding the token and delegating HP and it also helps to get a little more priority when burning the token to get a boost in our posts.

• @hive-br.voter: It is the official curation profile of the Brazilian community, which I am currently part of as a curator, along with other team members. I delegate 1k of HP precisely to show how I believe and am happy with this great native project.

• @liotes.voter: By delegating this HP, I certainly help part of the community involved with the @liotes project, in addition to the fact that there is a form of gamification among its members that I consider to be very fun and challenging, with weekly posts in which we can earn points and thus improve our ranking within this healthy competition.

• @psyberx: Honestly, I didn't have the opportunity to start this game, not least because time is short to accomplish so much, but this is certainly one of the best projects in which you delegate your HP and in return receive a boost in your posts.

Did you notice that in this example, each project has a different function? That's exactly what's amazing about Hive, this ability to have multiple directions and decide where you want to go.

Now that we've reached this point and I've stalled you a lot (just kidding) what I think about the total HP in relation to the effective HP:

• Possessing effective HP is certainly a good idea and a great initiative to help people, whether they are from your community linked to their nationality or tastes. So if you can apply heavy votes to your friends and the content creators you like the most, you certainly add value to them and consequently you become remarkable too.

• But my strategy at the moment is not to get a lot of effective HP, despite having started to focus on this a few weeks ago, I will change my focus again, delegating my HP to projects that can help me get more value in my posts.

This is my strategy, I know that perhaps many may even think that I only delegate HP and expect something in return, but, on this point, I disagree, because for me, there are no rules about “right or wrong” in how you help someone or some project.

The example that best fits this is precisely the project I am most involved in, which is HiveBR, focused on manual curation for Brazilians. In a way, my 1K delegate is always helping everyone in the community by coming directly from Hive-BR.Voter and currently added to my 1.4k HP, I believe I can say that I help my teammates with an effective HP of 2.4k HP.

So, when I change my HP to have more ways to earn considerable value in the posts, I will be having a greater return in HP and HBD with each post, which I can use to buy more hive and perform Power Up or withdraw to use here at reality or invest in something else.

I think of this form as a gym, in which I need to accelerate muscle gain (HP) as quickly as possible in the early years, so that in the future, with a long-term project, I will have a sculptural “body” that will allow me to participate in “Body Builder” contests (Effective HP) and have a high chance of being recognized and remembered in my career!

The example may not be the best, but it's my way of looking at things. So, my focus for another 2 years here at hive (totaling 4 years) will be trying to gain HP as quickly as possible, in balance with some withdrawals that I have been making to spend or invest in something I like, as I believe this is also necessary to maintain the “joy in continuing”, but that’s a post for another day.

Recentemente, conversando com alguns membros da comunidade brasileira, fiquei em dúvidas sobre qual seria a melhor estratégia para evoluir dentro da Hive. Claro que essa evolução depende muito do que cada um quer e deseja para o seu futuro.

Costumo dizer que aqui temos de tudo, pessoas que postagem pelo prazer de compartilhar conhecimento, pela terapia que é se envolver em projetos bem legais e com pessoas maravilhosas e com tudo o que podemos aprender, seja com acontecimentos bons ou ruins, todos aqui estão sujeitos a isso e indo bem além também temos quem quer ter uma segunda renda proveniente da Hive.

Acredito que me encaixo em alguns pontos, como, por exemplo, o envolvimento com comunidades (A brasileira HiveBR principalmente), conhecer pessoas da minha tribo, sendo pessoas ligadas a jogos e a área de tecnologia e ter a Hive como uma forma de segunda renda para mim.

Ok, mas, qual seria a melhor estratégia?

Esse ponto, reforçando, é subjetivo, então não sou ninguém para julgar o que está certo ou errado, portanto comentarei sobre a minha estratégia que sigo no momento e o motivo da mesma, mas antes, preciso compartilhar alguns detalhes para que todos entendam o contexto.

Atualmente tenho 5.289,490 de Hive Power e a data da minha entrada na Hive foi em 8 de maio de 2021, e como podemos observar, tenho uma boa parte delegada e um HP efetivo (aquele HP que realmente utilizo na minha conta) de 1.408,018.

Hoje tenho a experiência e a firmeza de escrever com mais tranquilidade sobre um assunto que muitos sabem, mas parece ainda haver um tabu sobre isso, sendo sobre os projetos no qual você delega seu HP e em troca você pode receber alguns votos em suas postagens.

É algo comum, grandes personagens da Hive já fazem isso, pois afinal, aqui é tudo visível, então fica fácil observar esses detalhes e como costumo dizer, não vejo o porquê de alguns até acharem isso errado, afinal, como na realidade, o dinheiro é seu, você aplica naquilo que você acha que é melhor para você.

Existe também alguns projetos no qual você queima um determinado token e em troca ganha um impulso em suas postagens, novamente digo, que não vejo problema nisso, cada projeto tem a sua particularidade, seu funcionamento e acho que essa diversidade é bem interessante, para um ecossistema funcionar respeitando as ideias e pessoas que aqui estão.

Com isso, minhas delegações podem ser observadas abaixo:

Aí você me pergunta: por que você delega a maioria do seu HP para estes projetos?

E respondo que cada um tem a sua característica e o seu objetivo para o meu projeto de vida aqui na Hive. Explicando rapidamente sobre quatro bem distintos que são:

• @helios.voter: Podemos ganhar tokens Helios por segurar o token e delegar o HP e isso também ajuda a ter um pouco mais de prioridade ao queimar o token para receber um impulso nas nossas postagens.

• @hive-br.voter: É o perfil oficial de curação da comunidade brasileira, que atualmente faço parte como curador, juntamente com outros membros da equipe. Delego 1k de HP justamente para mostrar como acredito e sou feliz com este grande projeto nativo.

• @liotes.voter: Delegando este HP, com certeza ajudo parte da comunidade envolvida com o projeto @liotes, além de que no mesmo existe uma forma de gamificação entre seus membros que considero algo bem divertido e desafiador, com postagens semanais no qual podemos ganhar pontos e com isso melhorar a nossa classificação dentro desta competição sadia.

• @psyberx: Sendo bem sincero, não tive a oportunidade de iniciar neste jogo, até porque o tempo é pouco para realizar tanta coisa, mas este com certeza é um dos melhores projetos no qual você delega o seu HP e em troca recebe um impulso em suas postagens.

Perceberam que neste exemplo, cada projeto tem uma função diferente? É exatamente isso que é o incrível da Hive, essa capacidade de ter várias direções e você mesmo decidir para onde quer ir.

Agora que chegamos neste ponto e enrolei bastante vocês (brincadeira) o que penso sobre o HP total em relação ao o HP efetivo:

• Possuir o HP efetivo com certeza é uma boa ideia e uma ótima iniciativa para auxiliar as pessoas, sejam elas de sua comunidade vinculadas a sua nacionalidade ou gostos. Então se você consegue aplicar votos pesados em seus amigos e nos criadores de conteúdo que você mais gosta, com certeza você agrega valor para eles e consequentemente você se torna notável também.

• Só que a minha estratégia no momento, não é obter muito HP efetivo, apesar de ter começado a algumas semanas a focar nisso, mudarei novamente o meu foco, delegando meu HP para os projetos que podem me ajudar a obter um valor maior nas minhas postagens.

Essa é a minha estratégia, sei que talvez muitos possam até julgar que só delego o HP e espero algo em troca, mas, neste ponto descordo, pois para mim, não existe regras sobre o “certo ou errado” em como você ajuda alguém ou algum projeto.

O exemplo que melhor se encaixa nisso, é justamente o projeto no qual sou mais envolvido, que é a HiveBR, focada em curação manual para os brasileiros. De certa forma, meu 1K delegado está sempre ajudando a todos da comunidade ao vir diretamente do Hive-BR.Voter e somado atualmente ao meu 1,4k de HP, acredito que posso afirmar que ajudo meus companheiros com um HP efetivo de 2,4k HP.

Então, ao trocar meu HP para ter mais formas de ganhar um valor considerável nas postagens, estarei tendo retorno maior em HP e HBD a cada postagem, que posso utilizar para comprar mais hive e realizar Power Up ou então retirar para utilizar aqui na realidade ou investir em alguma outra coisa.

Penso nesta forma, como uma academia, no qual preciso acelerar o mais rápido possível o ganho de músculos (HP) nos primeiros anos, para que assim no futuro, com um projeto a longo prazo, tenha um “corpo” escultural que me permita participar de concursos “Body Builder” (HP Efetivo) e ter uma alta chance de ser reconhecido e lembrado na minha carreira!

O exemplo pode não ser o dos melhores, mas é a minha forma de observar as coisas. Então, meu foco para mais 2 anos aqui na hive (totalizando 4 anos) será tentar ganhar o HP da forma mais rápida possível, em equilíbrio com algumas retiradas que tenho feito para gastar ou investir com algo que gosto, pois acredito que isso é necessário também para manter a “alegria em continuar”, mas isso é postagem para outro dia.
