My DIY Red Pesto Spaghetti
Have a beautiful day everyone! It's a fine day today and am glad I prepared my easy-to-prepare Red Pesto Spaghetti last night. Therefore, I only need to fill saucer for a bit to go along with first cup of morning coffee! Here's my recipe:
Red Pesto Spaghetti
Ingredients;
1 pack 500g. Spaghetti pasta
1/4 k. Ground meat
1/2 sachet Red Pesto
500 g. Spaghetti Sauce
1 sm sachet tomato paste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bulb onion, sliced
First, boil pasta with half teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon cooking oil to prevent it from sticking together.
Then drain with fresh water to prevent it from getting soggy then set aside.
Red Pesto is already complete with dried tomatoes and bell peppers+ basil leaves which is advantageous when you don't have the fresh ingredients so all I need to do is prepare the basic ingredients such as garlic and onions.
I boiled the ground meat first to remove excess fats.
Then drain it.
Set aside.
Saute onions first followed by garlic stirring occasionally over low heat to avoid getting burnt.
Them add the boiled ground meat and cover. Let it simmer for at least 3 minutes then add a little amount of water until it's done and quote dry.
Next, add the tomatoes paste and stir
Followed by spaghetti sauce...
And red pesto.
Prepare the pasta...
Them spread the spaghetti over pasta...
Yummy!
I intentionally did not spread cheese over my pasta to avoid fats. My nurse is strict. Lol!
That will be enough for my breakfast.:)
Thank you for dropping by!
I suddenly missed spaghetti. I am going to try and cook some in this coming weekend.
Yeah, weekend is great for the family to eat and enjoy spaghetti dear. Add pesto and you'll see the difference. Thanks for the visit.
welcome
That sauce made me drool.
