This was such a moving and beautiful story, Bali šŸ’— I loved how you structured it. Writing stories that go back and forth in time is no easy feat!!! My heart went out to Bella. I cannot imagine how empty one's world must feel when you are all alone. And she was in that situation for a long time... and then a second time. Tragic. You made me think of my own two children and how incredibly grateful I am that they were so young when we adopted them and that they had such amazing foster carers. If they ever felt the kind of loss and sadness that Bella felt, it would break my heart. This story, Bali... I can see how much effort you put into it, and it paid off. It is scary. It's very scary, especially when you know no one wants you. It saddens even the bravest of hearts. Yes, it sure was tragic for her, but she pulled it off...
