"Edge of Seventeen" is a true classic and legendary song of the 80s. If a time machine is invented, I would love to go back to the 70s and 80s to enjoy the music. Stevie Nicks has a mesmerising voice and her performance in this song is amazing. Also, the backing vocals are great. Also, Waddy Wachtel's guitar playing is amazing and adds a great vibe to the song. It has a distinctive, chugging 16th note guitar riff, drum beat and a simple chord structure. The lyrics of "Edge of Seventeen" express the grief resulting from the death of Stevie Nicks' uncle Jonathan and the murder of John Lennon.
