Using the Hiveengine aspect of Hive is another economic part of Hive which some people don’t know. Especially the newbies are only used to the Hive wallet but not the Hiveengine wallet. I have been using Hiveengine since I started using the Hive blockchain and my experience evolved from using HiveEngine to Leodex, majorly because of the fee differences. Hiveengine charges 0.75% fee when you want to swap from Hive to swap.hive no matter how much you want to swap. Which in my opinion was quite low because I have used other platforms that charge more. But then i met leodex that charges less, it charges about 0.25% and that’s really low compared to Hiveengine.

The only issue I had with Leodex is liquidity, it seemed to always have liquidity, which can get really frustrating when you want to make a quick swap. I found BeeSwap, it cost the same 0.25% but it didn’t have liquidity issues. Although sometimes liquidity issue comes but give it some few minutes it will have liquidity.

The beauty of Hive is its ability to always give you variety of options so you don’t have to depend on one source. It’s decentralized, anyone can build and add value. Everyone is always looking for ways to add more value to Hive and add more utilities.

I just came across a new platform to swap your Hive to Swap.Hive, this is very cheap compared to other platforms especially Hiveengine. The name is HiveUpMe and it’s fee is 0.1%, that’s extremely low, almost free.

All you need to do is go to the HiveUpMe site, on your HivekeyChain, this site works better with a PC because I tried with my mobile phone and couldn’t swap until I used my computer.

At first I was trying to be careful because I am careful of platforms I use my hive keychain. Reading the post from @hiveupme in @HIVEUPME Swap Script - Simple UI Solution gave me the assurance I needed.

There is a check your balance option there, you can check your balanace, to know how much swap.hive or how much Hive you have. depending on what you want to swap though.

this is the point where you swap your swap.hive to Hive or your Hive to swap.hive. So i went to the Swap SWAP.HIVE section to swap my swap.hive to Hive. click on swap close to it. approve with hivekeychain.
