MAKING PLANTAIN CHIPS WITH MY UNCLE'S WIFE.

Staying with my uncle was one of the best decisions I made this month. Tuesday made it exactly 2 weeks that I have been staying with him (his elder bro who is also my uncle and his wife all stay together). They have been nice to me since my stay with them.

So straight to the gist.......

The older uncle has a wife who makes plantain chips in large quantity and sell to wholesalers and retailers too: it tastes very good and crunchy and you get to know just by the smell of it.

The first day I got there, I met her frying plantains in the kitchen and aside the good aroma that I perceived while she was frying, the environment where she was frying, the kitchen, was neat and tidy enough. She package them in two ways, small amount that worth #50 and a bigger package that contains 24 of the smaller ones.

Helping her out with packaging of the plantain chips is quite easy for me as I also get to eat out of the crunchy chips either before or after packaging, I only have to work to get some of it😋😋.

In a single sitting, we packaged about 30 of the bigger size package and she sells at least 4 of them to a single customer. I wish I could help her scale up her business; actually I can but it would require us some capital and few networking to shops around school areas andd malls that sells more of snacks and junks.

She has various customers where she stays so she doesn't spend much on transportation to deliver good to the wholesalers and retailer customers.

She buys about 12 bunches of plantain every week from a farm that's very far from home. I guess the farm is located in a place where there's no human settlement because we don't aleays get to reach her number anytime we call her on farm. Sometimes, she also stay to fry the plantains in the same farm and completely fry them in 2 - 3 days depending on how many bunches she bought.

She sells crayfish too, package them in small and large quantity like she does with the plantain chips. She also make the packaged crayfish in rows by using a simple machine called the . I put on the generator for her each time she needs the machine since it requires electricity for it to work.

She is the only woman in the house so she does all the cookibg alone. I'm glad I could help her out with some of the cooking activities and house chores beofr I left there yesterday.
