The Power Of Physical Fitness In Prolonging Life

No one can decide or control the length of days to live on earth but one can decide what goes in and out of the body to keep healthy. We've seen or at least heard of people who died from things they could have avoided but ultimately, God allows their death so maybe it's just their fate. What's my point here? Finding ways to stay healthy is another way to prolong your lifespan.

I'm sure we'd all agree that no one can live long by having all the bad health habit and doing all the things that are harmful to their health. A clear, easier and less expensive way to prolong our lives is keeping our health in good condition.

One of things I see people overlook or don't do enough regarding this is, keeping physical fitness.

Physical fitness is keeping the whole body (mostly the part people see) in good health condition. Having a healthy physical body is your way to boosting your immune system (the one you can't see) and you could prolong your life when your immune system is strong and ready to defend you anytime.

Recently, I've been confirming over and over the importance of physical fitness while I go about my daily activities. Before now, I'd sit all day, rest less and not even imagine myself exercising my body. I felt my body going stiff and I tend to fall prey of any illness going around at that time especially cough and catarrh.

The point is, when you keep physical fitness, you are showing random illness from anywhere that they can't have you as a host. When illness go far from us, we get to spend our money on better things while living healthy. Although, with physical fitness, it has to be a regular thing or keeping consistency but it is cheap, easy to put into daily routine and even fun.

Physical fitness include Regular exercises and being physically active.

I don't know if it's just me but I've notice that guys take exercises more seriously than the ladies when it should be both ways. Exercises help keep our body fit and it can be very fun when it becomes a habit. I started to discipline myself and exercise daily with an app that reminds me when I forget and it's been a lovely experience for me.

I don't need anyone to tell me that the exercises have been helping me a lot health wise as I feel stronger to get things done and I don't feel sick as much as I do before. Even as I've started my service camp, I don't find the training too strong on me because it was as if I've been preparing myself for all this.

So let's make it a habit to exercise more, it will keep you active and even help dehydrate well for more water intake which would help in body regulation run smoothly. Another aspect for physical fitness that should be taken more seriously is, Reducing sitting and screen time.

This one is hard for my fellow online workers but it is something we can keep in check to keep healthy. Leading a sedentary life and spending too long hours on our screens will do our healthy no good, we should keep that in mind always.

In summary, it's what I have in my header image. To prolong our lives with the power of physical fitness, here are shorter tips.

  • Be active
  • Exercise more
  • Be intentional about this for yourself
  • Stay consistent once started
  • Prioritise your health
  • Stay fit

These and many more should be given more consideration than they get for our own betterment, our health is our wealth. Let's guard it jealousy and enjoy living.

I agree with you that exercising for physical fitness is very important. A lot of health issues are improved with keeping fit. For one thing, it makes one feel better, sleep better and be more productive
