The Liotes Power Challenge
With the Liotes Project, our target is to grow as a community and to help the community members to increase their stake. To do that, we have created the Liotes Power Challenge.
The concept is very simple, the more Hive you power up, the better. You just do what you have been doing so far: create content, curate and grow. We will track your growth with this challenge and reward you accordingly.
Who can take part?
You need to be in the top 80 of the Liotes ranking to take part.
How to take part?
If you are listed in the ranking below, you automatically take part. You don't need to do anything else. Simply power up as much Hive as possible during the coming 12 months. If you are not listed below and you would like to take part all the same, it's possible. You need to own at least 10 staked LENM tokens and you have to leave the following message below this post to enter the challenge: „I want to take part in the challenge“. This is possible until 7 days after the post was published.
Who wins?
Everybody wins. At the end of a year we check who has grown the most over the last 12 month. The more you grew, the more you earn.
What can you earn?
Whenever we create a post about this challenge, we will set the pot account as beneficiary of the post with 50%. All the money that goes to it will be used to buy hive power that will be delegated to the liotes.voter account. Thereby it will earn daily LEN dividends from this delegation. At the end of the year, we distribute all the LEN that has been accumulated among the participants. The more Hive you have powered up, the more you will earn!
The pot will be distributed the first time at the end of 2023.
Want to help to spice up this challenge?
You can see the pot of this challenge on the account @liotes.one. @ph1102 and @achim03 have both sent 25 Hive to this account to get started. Every day, the account is getting some LEN dividends and the pot will grow little by little.
If you like the idea of this challenge, you can contribute with hive or tribe tokens. Everything that lands on the @liotes.one account will be transformed into hive power. This hive power will then be delegated to the liotes.voter. The more hive power it has, the bigger the pot will be. Therefore, any contribution is very welcome :-). At the same time, this hive power will vote on your posts!

Wow one year is gonna be a looong time! Hahaha! Sounds fun! But I have one question, so is it better to delegate HP to liotes.one or liotes.voter (which I currently am doing)?
The idea is not to make something short term but to give an incentive to people to really grow their stake. Please don't delegate to liotes.one because this account won't do any voting at all. Continue delegating to liotes.voter. If somebody wants to throw a handful of hive into the pot they are of course welcome but it's purely on a volontary basis :-)

I need to buy and stake 10 LENM and I am in right?
To make it fair in respect to the people who support the project for a long time, we ask a comittment to take part in the challenge. You can buy LENM on tribaldex or hive-engine. You then need to stake them. These tokens are miners that will mine LEN tokens on a regular basis. At the same time you will climb in the Liotes ranking. Please tell me once you have LENM staked here, so that I can add you to the list of participants.
I found this challenge super interesting, in a way that the competition, let's say, is to get stronger for the hive itself, incredible!

Orca level seems not that far away:-). I actually saw your power up along with two others from Liotes community in the top 10 ranking of people powering up the most on a given day. It kind of gave me the idea for this challenge :-)
