The sun blazed down on the small town as the afternoon grew late. John walked down the street, his head held high, a determined look on his face. He had been wronged, and he was going to make sure that the person responsible paid for it.

He came to a stop in front of the house of his adversary, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. With a deep breath, he knocked on the door.

A few moments later, the door opened and his adversary stood before him. John didn't waste any time.

'I'm here to get what is rightfully mine,' he declared. 'You have been taking advantage of me for far too long, and I will not stand for it any longer. It's personal!'

His adversary laughed in his face. 'You think you can come here and threaten me? You don't know who you are messing with!'

John stepped closer, his voice steady and his gaze unwavering. 'I know exactly who I am messing with. And I will not be intimidated. It's personal. I am here to get what is mine, and I won't be leaving until I do.'

The adversary's face paled as he realized how serious John was. He quickly handed over the money he had wrongfully taken, and John left with a satisfied smirk on his face.

It was personal. And he'd won.
