A DAY OF REFLECTION
"It was how I always thought: I've got this, and yet I still ended up not doing well most of the time. Naturally, I think I'm a very pessimistic person, but then I'm not sure. My name seems to contrast so much with my pessimistic nature, so I always strive to stay optimistic - it's been a struggle, trust me. I love being me, and I hate it when I see myself trying to be what I'm not. But then I come to accept the fact that even if I'm not something or someone, that shouldn't stop me from striving to be the best version of myself.
Recently, I went for a children's quiz program popularly called JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz). Only children between the ages of 7-14 are eligible to participate in it, and those who do really well receive really cool prizes, and for just participating, they all get some little prizes to encourage them to do better next time. It was on a Saturday morning, and I already had other engagements, but the one that was more important was going out to share the gospel with those who cared to listen to me. It wasn't so productive, but I'm glad I still went out to do that.
It's so sad that so many people are relying on their knowledge of what is right or wrong, and that has hindered most people from wanting to listen to those who go to share the gospel with them. Basically, everyone just feels that as long as you know that God exists and you are doing good, then that is enough, but trust me, my friend, there is more. I remember we got rejected most of the time, and I felt sad because they missed the opportunity to be saved by the gospel (well, they think they are already in the right path, so).

Immediately we were done with the evangelism, most of us went for the JBQ program since it was organized by some members of the congregation we worshiped at. It was a fun walk down there since it wasn't so far away. Of course, seeing how brightly the sun was shining, I brought out my phone to take some beautiful pictures of what I could see. The environment was just so beautiful and peaceful, thanks to the trees and flowers around and, of course, those keeping everything neat and clean.
We arrived at the venue, though we were late since we had something else to do before going for the event. When we got there, the first round was already concluded, and the second round was just about to get started. Some of the children did really well because they barely missed any questions they were asked. It was obvious that they were well-coached, as they displayed great knowledge that day. I was totally impressed and amazed at the same time. I remember I kept wishing I had such an opportunity to attend a quiz like that.
Even though I went late for the quiz, I had some school activities I needed to attend to, so I had to leave immediately after the last rounds, and at that point, I already knew who the winners were because it was just so undisputed. I can imagine how proud their coaches would be and also their parents. Well, I was happy I was able to be everywhere I needed to be, and the outcome was really productive. It was a successful day, I must say, and I had so much to learn, and I'm glad I got to learn most of them.
All of these things happened the past Saturday. I just wanted to share the few images and some experiences. So, it's a pleasure to have you stop by."
Deep reflection! Feeling the "always gotta be optimistic" struggle? Same, friend, same. But hey, striving to be your best self is what matters! Sharing the gospel is amazing, even if it's tough 🙌 🧡
I know right, that’s more than enough being the best of me 🥰.
Thank you so much for this beautiful comment friend ❤️
It seems like it was an amazing day for you with some good experiences. I that kind of competition is good for kids because it's healthy competition and it encourages little kid a lot. I would love to visit there also.

Yeah, this way they get to grow in knowledge of things and hopefully get better as they grow older.
Hopefully someday you’d visit one 😀.

We all struggle with pessimism, my dear. The trick is, having recognised it, to keep working on our mindset by focusing more on the positives. And, you are doing great, really.
#dreemerforlife
That’s true! I think that is how I manage to just stay optimistic after all, the fact that I know I’m always pessimistic, hehe.
Thank you so much for stopping by ma’am 🤗
Sounds like you had an amazing weekend 😊. I love it when I see kids participating in such educative activities.
#dreemport
Yeah I did 🥰.
Me too, I feel happy and proud of them, it’s not easy
I'm glad whenever I see children participating in such competitions. It gives me the assurance that there are still individuals who will be great future leaders.
The fact that you were able to accomplish all your tasks that day shows how pessimistic you are!
#Dreemerforlife.
Yeah, it’s really encouraging seeing children participate in things like this.
Yeah, it was so overwhelming at first but I’m glad God helped me through them all 🥰.
Thank you so much for stopping by mama ❤️

Your words about evangelism poked my heart. It's really been a long while I did that last. And that's something that used to be part of my life😭
This is a reminder to you then 🥰
