Cooking; More Than Just A Skill

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hello Hive Naija community, compliment of the season to everyone and I hope we are all in the festive mood already.

The Hive Naija prompts for this week are awesome topics as usual and I chose to share my skill that stands out. Everyone knows that I will definitely go for cooking even though it's not the only skill I am good at but it's one skill I learned after some difficulty I faced as a kid.

I took my time to learn and develop myself which is why I am always eager to share my recipe on Hive. Cooking has turned out to be more than a skill but it has helped me in different ways all through my journey up to date.

A lot of people think it's stressful but I don't feel that way about this one skill that has come through for me in life many times. Cooking my meal guarantees me that is healthy because I will ensure that my meal is prepared properly and it saves me lots of money, especially during this time when food items are very expensive.

The video is my entry to the prompt and I shared the recipe to prepare water yam fritters. It is another perfect snacks to share wirh you friends and family this season, I hope you enjoy watching.

Ordinary water? Your Mom's ordinary on fire smells amazing? 😅

This man has done things in this life with cooking oh. I guess the saying "disappointments can be blessings" is true in this case. Sorry about the rough time, but you learned how to cook that way.

I intend to start learning a lot so I can be doing magic in the kitchen as well. Your videos will come in handy, so keep 'em rolling.

If @george-dee doesn't kill me with good, then I will not die again. Hahahaha. Water yam in my mother's house is to boil , then you sit on the floor to eat it with palm oil. If you like add raw onions. Hahaha. But see what @george-dee has turned water yam into,! This is so yummy, so foreign and of course classy. Well done George, you have an amazing skill with food.
I should try this by weekend
