May the month of flowers

May is undoubtedly the month of flowers. The center of spring, when life explodes as if in a hurry before the arrival of the hot summer.
The days lengthen little by little as the month goes by. Sometimes it rains, sometimes the sun comes out. But it is getting warmer and it is in the heat of these spring days that life emerges.

First are the plants that resprout coming out of the cold winter. Then the flowers begin and insects eager for nectar to feed on appear. Suddenly exquisite sounds emerge. They are the birds that begin to be active looking for a mate. Others come from distant places looking for better temperatures and a place to have their offspring.

May is also the month with the most work in the garden for the gardener. It's time to transplant and plant summer vegetables. But also to start harvesting the first fruits like strawberries or peas. The beans should be ready by now if you did a good job in late winter.
You also have to hill up the potatoes that are in full development and that you will have to collect in just over a month if you planted in February.
But it is also the time to go out for a walk. Pick asparagus, herbs or flowers for your home remedies. And do all this if possible with children so that they learn to appreciate the nature that surrounds them. In short, we are in the center of spring.
