Christmas is here, it's time to decorate.

Hello Hivians. It's Thursday, December 14th and there's just over a week left until Christmas, so it's time to decorate the house a little. The children have already brought me a lot of things from school because it seems to the teachers that it is normal to start Christmas in November. This is not my case, things must be celebrated in their proper measure otherwise they lose all meaning and become just a commercial excuse.

So the time has come to put up the tree. This is easy for me because I have a large fir tree in the garden. Although it's getting bigger and bigger and I can't even reach the point with the three-section staircase. But hey, I'll leave that to my boy who can figure it out. Although I am not religious, I put up a nativity scene for some guests. Although it is true that it does not comply much with religious parameters. To be honest it is a pretty strange nativity scene.

What I do like to decorate is the fireplace and fill the entire house with decorations and lights that give it a very special warmth. Of course I put all the children's drawings and the gifts I am receiving these days. Food is also important to be present everywhere even though it is a harsh temptation.
The most important thing is to create a warm environment in which everyone is happy and feels welcomed.
