Ehon Project Status Update #2 || Ehon Homepage || Voting Tool || Christmas Airdrop || Discord || Ehon.Witness

Welcome to the 2nd weekly status update on Ehon! As you surely have noticed, we have decided to do it on Thursday, but we will keep it that way. 🙂

So here we go:

- Homepage

We have started working on the website, where basic functions like the KeyChain login, but also the integration of the voting tool have priority.
The voting tool will be the first function available on the website besides the login via KeyChain, so our internal voting procedure will start with the website. Everyone, who has staked EGOV, can participate (more details in the next section).
Graphics as well as further updates will be added to the website bit by bit, but of course we will inform you about progress in these update posts.

- Voting Tool

This week we finished the database for the voting tool. It stores the proposals, the votes of the users and their EGOV stake. This information is transferred via CustomJSONs. Each user submits a CustomJSON with the information for which option that was voted for in which vote, a crawler will extract this information to write it onto the blockchain.

In addition, every 24 hours the backend issues an intermediate result of the vote in form of a CustomJSON, which will be displayed on the website. This shows the percentage of votes up to this point. A final result will be recorded after the expiration of the respective proposal. At this point, the voters' stake is also finally recorded for possible airdrops related to their vote. Within the period of a proposal you can increase the weighting of your vote by staking further EGOV.

• There will be a airdrop for each upcoming vote!

In the first week there will be a test proposal to put the system through its paces. In case you take part in it, there will be a little something for testing, of course. ;)

• In the first version of the votiong tool, only your first vote will be counted!

- Christmas Airdrop

As promised in the last post, today we will show you how the content of the christmas airdrop is going to look like.

As you can see, it's a complete christmas outfit, which consists of the following assets:

• A Hat
• Clothes
• Pants
• 2 different candy canes

Based on the snapshot above, we get a total of 5149 christmas airdrops, so each asset will be printed 1030 times. These are then randomly distributed to the holders as NFTs, based on their airdrop points.

The values of these NFT's are of course dependent on how they are interpreted by the respective game. So depending on the interpretation, it could be something purely optical, but also something with a unique set bonus. 😉

One thing is for sure, they will fit your GENONE perfectly.

- Discord

With the release of the first version of the website, we will also release our Discord server to the public, so you are welcome to join our server starting Sunday.
The invitation link will follow on Sunday with the first release of the homepage.

- Ehon.Witness

The next step regarding our Witness Node is to set up an automated update of the price feed.
This would be of no relevance to the system outside of a ranking in the top 20, but it looks nicer. 🙂
