X Update: METHODS OF PAYMENT/SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL

So I haven’t seemed to fully recovered from my X mojo since I lost it. Impressions dropping and engagement too. However, there is always something to learn.

We know that X has added some upgrades to the pricing. We now have Basic…

Premium…

and Premium+…

Now, looking at this benefits of each of these plans, I understand some and don’t understand some.

For example with this Premium+ plan. What does “No Ads” mean? Isn’t ads the way you get paid? Why wouldn’t I want Ads?

But anyway, I’m sure I’ll get answers to that soon. For this update, I was able to get answer to a particular problem bugging me.

I realized that for me to renew my subscription I had to wait for it to expire totally and for the blue to disappear for me to renew. I don’t want that. So I needed a solution. Thank God for knowledgeable people.

Someone answered the pressing question and told me that as long as the card I added to my X account was funded, it would be taken automatically. Bruh… I did not know that.

So it has to be my card. I asked, “Well what if it isn’t and I want to add new method of payment?”

It’s easy. Fact is, you would need to use X web version for this process.

So, sign into your account via your preferred browser. I use Google LLC. Then go to menu bar.

You click on Settings and Support…

And then Settings and Privacy…

You would be directed to another page and you select Premium.

Then you select the option above that reads, “Manage Subscription”

You see that you have two options. To Upgrade or to manage current subscription.
Upgrading means you’re going to the next level of payment. Either from Basic to Premium or from Premium to Premium+.

Selecting the Manage option takes you the page where you can add method of payment.

So you can go ahead and add your new method of payment which in this case refers to new card.

X gives a Grace of Four days before privileges are taken away to renew your payment. Now, this information isn’t just for those who have used someone’s card before. Maybe you just want to switch cards or something happened to the previous one, this is how you go about it.

So, I went ahead funding my Virtual Card. And now I will wait to see if this works. I suspect it will because why not?! Ha!
