My Actifit Report Card: October 1 2023
After another full days work my daughter asked me if I would like to meet her for a couple of beers in the evening. Of course, my answer was yes! 🍺
That was so nice after the stress of the day. The walk into town also sent my step count sky rocketing. Almost to my all time record!
There was an incident at work, a potentially dangerous one! I could have been injured. See the next photo.
The aircraft door was opened without checking that the emergency escape shute was deactivated. Me and my colleague were lucky that it did not inflate, otherwise we could have been hurt.
I think the platform stopped the shute dropping enough to trigger the deployment mechanism!
A lesson learned! Always follow safety procedures. This event was not our fault but it could have ended very badly!
