Just A DAB Full of Silver Makes The Hive Goals Adjust

This post is a little bit of an oddball because it's partially about silver, partially about Hive, tokens and my Hive goals as a whole. A little over a week ago I had set some reasonable Hive goals for 2024. You can read about those here if you’re curious.

Silver for Trade
I recently had an opportunity to trade with a fellow SGS member. They wanted to up their silver holdings. I'm more looking to up my gold and Hive asset holdings, so it was a good match. They walked away with a nice chunk of silver, and I walked away with a nice chunk of DAB. My original goal was to hit 170 DAB by the end of this year. I've far surpassed that thanks to this wonderful trade. 😁

Hive Goal Adjustments
As a result of far exceeding my 2024 goal for DAB, that frees me up to more aggressively pursue my other 2024 Hive Goals. My new stack of Hive is netting me more daily Hive drips, which will be reinvested back into my Hive goals. Sure, at some point I'll take some profits, but seeing as I'm just starting out it makes more sense to compound this through reinvestment.

HIQS & HOC
I originally wanted to bring my stake in HIQS up to 250, but recently they've cut back quite a bit on the upvote power of their bot. Because of this, the potential upvote it could hand out to new Hive members who've joined HOC (Hive Onboarding Committee) is very, very small. I'll be unstaking these, selling them off and putting the funds into DVS, so I can call higher DHEDGE upvotes for new members, since that is still reliable.

BRO & LGN
I had originally set more modest goals of 30 BRO and 16 LGN for the year. Since I'm not focused as aggressively on DAB, I'll re-focus on investing that daily Hive drip into BRO and LGN. By my math, a reasonable adjusted goal would be 40 BRO and 60 LGN.

My 2024 Goals
Overall, this doesn't change my Hive goals, but it does give me a big head start! I'll be able to more aggressively pursue establishing a daily Hive drip, continue with helping new Hive members and onboarding new members as part of the Hive Onboarding Committee, and working towards building up my HP.

Thanks! I believe they're supposed to do a DBOND sale for CLUB members, so if you're a member, it'll hopefully be a great opportunity to pick some up cheap and mint some more DAB. 😁

I think if we can get more people using HBD or easy ways to get cash out we could really cut out a lot of the middle men !BBH

Yeah, I agree. So for the best viable option I've seen is depositing to BitPay, then converting to Bitcoin and then purchasing silver or gold.
