The garden update

A broccoli is starting...

The tomato seedlings seem to have finally adjusted to life outside the seedling shed. They aren’t looking as droopy and they are starting to grow. There are also flowers on quite a few. The one seedling that we lost looks like it’s resprouted!

The radishes are continue to grow well.

We discovered a Swede in the kale bed!

Sadly our quince tree has some sort of fungal infection, which is common in very wet weather. We’ve lost more than half the fruit so we’re just going to focus on saving the tree - removing all the affected leaves and purchasing a copper spray. Pretty devastated about that, was we were really looking forward to enjoying some quince paste...

Good work you are doing there. Soon some of them be ready for harvesting. Try to treat the quince tree quicky before it spreads out further
