Picture A Day - Takeoff!

I walked through a shady park among mighty trees along a narrow path.

I no longer remember what thoughts visited me then but at some point I looked up and stopped.

Above me was the incredible beauty of the interweaving of treetops against the blue sky.

I looked up and it seemed to me that I was taking off like a bird, the feeling of freedom was very strong.

I wanted to flap my arms like wings and intensify this feeling but a man weighing a hundredweight who is standing in the middle of the park looking somewhere up and waving his arms would look too strangely ridiculous, lol.

But what I saw and was able to capture in this photograph was enough for me.
