My Journey Through the Graphite World - The good, the bad, the ugly

Such epithets as very difficult difficult, a little easier, easier, easier, more difficult and again very difficult line up in an unbroken row when I suddenly for no apparent reason decide to draw something without having a lot of knowledge and skills in the field of drawing.

But who said that traveling is easy?

And even if you are traveling through the imaginary world of graphite hanging over a blank sheet of paper and holding a pencil and an eraser in your hands these epithets on the one hand try to scare me and on the other hand when I have overcome my fears can bring some sense of victory when the drawing turned out the way it was intended.

Some drawings require my additional reflection and intervention after a break and mastering new drawing skills.

But unfortunately I cannot and do not want to force myself to draw it should be a pleasure not a compulsion and it would be correct to say that I draw "sometimes".

Yes, sometimes I draw and this "sometimes" is sometimes systematic like that time and sometimes spontaneous in those moments when there are breaks in this hobby and suddenly inspiration comes to me.

Without inspiration I don’t want to draw otherwise I won’t be able to put meaning into my drawing to show its mood as in the case of the drawing that I want to present to you today.

I would call this drawing words similar to the title of an old movie where the wonderful melody of the prairies by Ennio Morricone sounded, but here you won’t see cowboys but you will see the good the bad and the disgusting.

And in the title of this drawing there are many epithets where can you hide from them lol?

So, good this is a young dog who is good-natured to everyone and to the good and to the bad and to the disgusting sometimes he does not understand how to behave and cuddles to everyone a little stupid but I met such dogs.

This dog looks at the goat who violated the territorial integrity of the personal boundaries of the dog living in the kennel brazenly climbing onto the roof in order to get to the juicy leaves of the tree hanging from the branches.

We will call this dog by the epithet - good.

I think that this epithet is a bit erroneous because a good guard dog and his mood should be incomprehensible to uninvited guests and instill some anxiety.

If the dog shows by its appearance that it is good-natured no one will be afraid of it but such dogs are usually called good friends but bad guards.

I tried to show in my drawing the mood of the characters in the form of animals.

In fact it is a victim because an impudent goat is trampling around its house but its grimace of anger and fear makes its appearance somewhat repulsive.

A goat is always a goat both when you call him a goat for his behavior and when you don’t pay any attention to him, but the epithets “goat” and “bad” are closely intertwined in any situation.

I stopped my work at the stage that you see in the photographs but I do not exclude that I will still work on the drawing with pencils and an eraser to make the drawing more expressive.

Be that as it may this drawing has replenished my collection of original drawings.
