Gifts of the forest - Forest sweets - Acacia bean.

When we find ourselves in the forest and get far into its depths sometimes it is unpleasant to find out that we forgot something at home or to buy something on the way.

For example you can accidentally forget a flask of water at home a package of sandwiches that you prepared last night or you are a sweet lover and forgot to buy a chocolate bar on the way to the forest.

Sometimes the craving for sweets can be just as strong than the thirst for water or the feeling of hunger besides sweets add strength and energy along the way.

But the Creator took care of us in such a situation, even when there are no more sweet berries in the forest their season has already passed but in late spring and winter you can find sweet candies in the forest.

As a child, the acacia bean was called that - forest candy.

Of course it is not often that you see such huge beans they must have a lot of sweet pulp.

It remains to open this bean.

You know acacia is a relative of legumes like beans soybeans and peas though acacia. it is a mighty tree with very hard wood.

Almost everything is used in medicine tree bark flowers and beans.

But, it should be noted that all this contains poisonous substances and when we eat the sweet pulp of this bean we cannot abuse the hospitality of the forest at least you can get an upset stomach this sweetness has a laxative effect but the fact that the issue with sweets will be resolved is for sure the pulp is sweet as honey.

The bob breaks and opens easily.

The seeds should be avoided they are poisonous.

They say that jam and tea are made from these beans but I have not tried them cooked I like the smell and taste of the fresh pulp of the acacia bean.
