A day out trying Foods in Dhaka | Street Food | Review

I am a foodie today I felt like trying out foods so, I went out with one of my friend from college. We met after a long time and I decided to give him a treat and told him that we were gonna taste out foods all day long.

Morning break-fast

At 10 am we headed for the restaurant nearby which is “PizzaBurg”. First we had ordered 2 types of pizza. Because I wanted to eat pizza for many days and now we are out and I wanted to try some new flavoured pizza.

Kebab Cocktail Pizza

The pizza is topped with mozzarella
cheese and small pieces of chicken kebab, tikka, meatball, jhuri, capsicum, ring onion. It was way too much delicious. At first bite I felt the cheese melting into my mouth. Pizza is always the best buddy to have.

Four Flavours Pizza

It’s the best one we have tried so far. Could taste different flavours. I could taste four flavours and each one of them tasted soo good. Topped with spicy chicken ball, mozzarella cheese & marinara sauce, sausage, sweet corn, Cheddar cheese, chicken tikka masala, sliced tomato and onion rings I could feel the taste of all of these ingredients. It’s better than the one we ate previously. It’s easy for me to guess what ingredients they have used because I can cook and I have baked pizzas before at home. I am gonna try to bake this pizza at home.

Lunch meal

We hanged out for a while then it was noon, we were still in the same area so had the lunch at the same restaurant. They had meals we choose set menu 2 and fat boy meal. There was no pictures on the menu it was confusing for us because with names we could not guess if it’s gonna be good to have. So, we just ordered randomly whatever was on the first list of the menu.

There is a consists of mildly spiced rice,one piece creamed chicken steak, red chili chicken, sausage vegetable curry & garden salad. I love the steak it’s too much juicy and creamy. The white cream on the top of it made it tastier. Well cooked spicy rice I don’t like spicy food but it was tasty so it didn’t matter.

Fat boy Meal

On the platter we have fried rice, 2 piece of fried chicken, two types of curry Chinese vegetable, onion, garden salad & sauce. Curry was the main dish over here the chicken was properly cooked and it was perfect for the platter after combining everything it tasted just awesome.

Street food

There are always long lines for street foods, local people love street foods. The price is cheap but the taste is very good. It might be unhygienic in some places they don’t use hand gloves but not everywhere it’s the same. Everyone enjoys having street food without any hesitation. Specially students on their tiffin time they wanna try out street foods.

Phuchka is something I would love to have anytime whenever I am outside. In puffed puri they make a hole and stuff smashed potato into and many ingredients are used in this smashed potato. It’s a mouth watering street food everyone loves it. .I can assure that if anyone tries this Phuchka he can never forget it’s taste. In Bangladesh it’s the most famous street food.

Cha time

My friend had to leave because his mom was sick so met up with another friend who lived nearby I just wanted to continue today’s food tasting day. As you can see I am having Tea and in Bangla we call it “Cha” the one I am having is cow milked tea. I love cha it’s my another favourite thing to drink. Hot milked tea gives me pleasure and keeps me energetic. Bangladeshi people loves to drink tea everyday and at any time they just want to have some tea.

After a while another meal we had, there were many stalls combined. I was suddenly craving for steak again and we ordered chicken steak, vegetable rice, chicken leg piece and cucumber. I love Coca Cola in the middle of esting, I am always looking for soft drinks. I feel my throat is dried up so I keep on drinking after few bites. So, I kept ordering soft drinks besides the food taste was average.

Twilight end of the journey

A weird restaurant I have entered For the name over here you have to share table with strangers and it was pretty unusual for me, a lady was sitting in-front of me and she kept staring at me. There was nothing much on the menu which I would have like to try so Here we have as soft drink Green mint mojito, potato wedges and chilly tubular pasta. They have used tomato sauce with a good amount it didn’t feel extra or less it was fantastic. I am a pasta lover , my mom cooks really good pasta. I didn’t like the drink mojito it doesn’t match my taste bud. I love potatoes so wedges were more than perfect.

So, in the end at twilight I came back home. It was a great day with tasty foods. Happy tummy happy me. When my tummy is satisfied everything feels great. Today I have tried lot’s of food I don’t usually eat this much. I just love to eat delicious foods sometimes my experience is bad anyways hope you guys also have enjoyed reading my experience. I might have missed some points pardon my mistakes.
