My Actifit Report Card: April 30 2024

Keeping with my new running resolution, I needed to get out for a run today. I decided on my loop, which takes me along the cycle path again, which is about 13km long and mostly flat. The main exception to that being the hill up through the middle of Saltford village. As you can see from today's first picture, it's not really much of a hill, but it's enough to hurt if you don't take it slow enough.

The run actually turned out to be harder work than I anticipated as I hadn't taken account of the strength of the wind today. It was one of those days that whichever direction I was running in, it seemed I had a headwind. Never mind, that's my first run of the week successfully completed.
