Amazing Water Rangers In The Modern Format

Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.

I hope every one of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new card edition, Conclave Arcana, a new set of core cards, is released, and players are enjoying the new strategy, and new excitement is at its fullest in the sphere. As an old player, I am also very excited about the new card edition, and I am preparing my new decks with the new cards by searching for the best cards to have in my decks. As my participation Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, I am going to talk about my favorite Water Rangers for Range-based matches that I am currently using for my battle. I hope it will help you select or consider your strategy to build stronger decks.

Relatively Low Mana summoner Prophet Rosa that I am going to introduce is great summoner with two other monsters from the water team. They are combinedly very effective for the modern format battle without spending much more for me and so they are my favorite to chose them in my everyday battle. Though it can not be the most powerful combo but it the most effective combo for me to fight without spending any extra fee for the rent purpose. Especially the summoners add two extra range attacks to the range attackers of the team which can be allowed to maximum two monsters. Also, the summoner has another optional ability that is provided to only one monster that is SHIELD that reduced the melee and range attcks into half for the enabled friendly monster.

The Rangers team is consists of three members including one summoner and two monsters from the water team. The great summoner is the Prophet Rosa with the two other monsters are STEPPE STALKER and MAR TOREN TRADER which are so stronger as a whole team. The summoner is a 5 MANA summoner from the rebellion card edition that offering two abilities to the friendly monsters. The best one is the addition of two RANGE attacks that is so good to have with the other members of the team. The other ability of adding one friendly monster with SHIELD ability is not so good in my opinion.

The first and the most significant monster that I have selected is the STEPPE STALKER which is a 7 MANA cost water monster with the Common rarity from the newly introduced Conclave Arcana card edition. It is so powerful as it has the CLOSE RANGE ability that allow this monster to attack the enemy with RANGE attacks from the first place also that is not possible for the RANGE attackers in normal situation.

The second most important ability is the SLOW that provide a greater support for the team as it decrease one speed of the all enemy monsters in the opposite team. The third ability is the PAINFORGE that is also an interesting ability that let it have an increment in the power when it got attacked by the poison, burning or hit by an ally. The last ability that make this card into a proper TANK is the SHIELD ability makes this card to have half of the reduction in health by melee and range attacks.

The second partner monster in the team is a great supportive monster MAR TOREN TRADER which is a great supportive low MANA monster that plays an important role in the battle. The most important ability that it provides is the HEADWINDS which decreases one range attacks from the all enemy monster that has range attacks.

The second ability of this monster is the HEAL that allow it to increase it's health each round by 1/3 that is a sustainable monster for the team. So, this amazing card is a great card to have in the team as it always suppress the enemy team and it makes the friendly team to have lower range attacks making the friendly team more stronger.
