Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Having powerful cards is of course very important in battles, but cards may not be able to win battles on their own, however with a good strategy we can make them much more useful in battles. So strategy is also very important in battles, in my opinion, even more important than having powerful cards. Because when I can determine a good strategy in battle, I can beat even much more powerfl teams, so I attach great importance to strategy. Before the battles, I first review my opponent's recent battles and then determine my strategy according to the battle's ruleset, and if I have a better strategy than my opponents, I have a higher chance of winning the battle. Also, being able to predict the opponents' strategy gives a great advantage in battle, which is why I review my opponent's recent battles. When I can predict my opponent's strategy and determine a good strategy and my strategy works as I want, my team usually wins the battle no matter how p*owerful the opposing team is, and I will talk about exactly such a battle below.
- Target Practice: All units with magic and ranged attacks have Snipe (magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position).
- Aim True: All units gain True Strike (attacks will never miss).

According to the ruleset of battle, all units with magic and ranged attacks have Snipe ability, and all units will gain True Strike ability. When I reviewed the opponent's recent battles, I saw that they had some powerful cards, so I knew this battle would be difficult for me. And I could only use level 1 cards in this battle. I needed a better strategy to defeat the opposing player. I tried to determine a strategy that would work better in this battle, based on my opponent's strategy in recent battles and the ruleset of battle.
First of all, I chose Kaylia Silverleaf as the Archon because she reduces the magic attack of all enemy units with magic attack by 1 and grants Execute ability (If the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit) to Units of the same bloodline as her. Especially, I believe that the Execute ability will be very useful in this battle, so I will add 3 Elf Units to my team.
Since it only costs 1 mana and has 6 health, I added Halfling Refugee to my team and put it in first position. I added Thanalorian Blade, who is of Elf bloodline and has the Opportunity ability (Targets the enemy unit with the least health), to my team and put it in the second position. I put Ulundin Overseer, who has 5 armor and 12 health, in the third position. Ulundin Overseer does not have attack power, but enemies with the Snipe ability will target Ulundin Overseer, and it will be difficult to destroy it because it has high health. And I put Ujurak Mystic with Lookout ability (Adjacent units take 1 less damage from attackers with Sneak, Snipe, or Opportunity. Reduces damage from all enemy Ambush attacks by 50% (rounded down)) in the fourth position next to Ulundin Overseer, I had no doubt that this would turn my opponent's strategy upside down. I put Anachron Bolter, who is of Elf bloodline and has the Headwinds ability (-1 ranged power to all enemy units), to my team and put it in the five position. I put Blackmoor Wild Elf, who is of Elf bloodline and has the Camouflage ability (Cannot be directly targeted unless in the first position. Does not affect indirect attacks (e.g. Scattershot, Blast splash damage, or Trample) or Wingbreak), to my team and put it in the lat position.
Round 1
Early in the battle, my strategy started working very well. Reducing the ranged attack of all enemy ranged attack units by 1, reducing the magic attack of all enemy magic attack units by 1, and including the Lookout ability in my lineup worked incredibly well. In the first round, the enemies couldn't even damage Ulundin Overseer, but 2 units were destroyed on the opposing team.
Round 2
In the second round, the enemies couldn't even damage Ulundin Overseer and 1 unit was destroyed on the opposing team.
Round 3
My strategy was working very well and the enemies were having a hard time and in the third round the enemies couldn't even damage Ulundin Overseer and 1 more unit was destroyed on the opposing team.
Round 4
Endless Ape wasn't easy to destroy as it had high health but it took serious damage and by the end of the fourth round it only had 5 health left and it was clear that it would be destroyed in the next round.
Round 5
And in the fifth round, the opposing team's Endless Ape and Blackmoor Wild Elf were also destroyed, and my team won the battle.
The battle lasted five rounds, and by the end of the battle, while all the enemies were destroyed, only Halfling Refugee from my team was destroyed. And the most interesting thing was that even though all the enemies with snipe targeted Ulundin Overseer, Ulundin Overseer did not take any damage. Including the Lookout ability in my lineup proved very useful in battle, and thanks to this, Ulundin Overseer did not take any damage. Also, the Execute ability was very useful, especially destroying enemies with 2 or less health became easier. My strategy worked very well in this battle, even though the opposing team was more powerful, my team won the battle quite easily. I recommend watching the battle, here is the link to the battle.
