Falling

Falling asleep
Tossing and turning
Finally drifting away.

Let me sleep
And drift away
So I can deeply rest.

Finally down into
dreams I go
My quiet gets interrupted.

In and out
Up and down
I hear doors squeaking.

Up and down
Sneaking and stepping
Two pairs of feet in the night.

"Are you done?"
Im asking
I already moved their shoes.

Now im awake But
Now i must sleep. Trains
signal the dawn approaching.

Crackling goes on,
Such noise 😑 I must
Try to just ignore it.
