Among useless things, a used AA battery is probably at the top of the list.
Furthermore, it's difficult to dispose of and, as a rule, should be disposed of separately from other waste. Besides being useless, it also causes some trouble once the battery has stopped performing its intended function.
Yes, it's useless, especially in a table clock that sits on the dressing table. Early in the morning, when I open my eyes, I can see whether it's time to wake up or if I can take another nap.
That's what happened today: when I opened my eyes and looked at the clock, I saw that the hands pointed to half past four in the morning.
I had no need to rush, so I fell asleep again.
Just when I felt like I'd had a good night's sleep, I looked at my watch again and saw the same picture: half past four...
In reality, it was already approaching midday, and I should have remarked on the extreme uselessness of such a battery, but my conscience wouldn't allow it. LOL, after all, I'd slept well, and therefore, I saw a clear and genuine benefit in such a battery, but that's very situational, since I rarely get to sleep long.
