Get Moving, Get Motivated!

The topic for the week is a relatable one. We all get demotivated and struggle to get motivated again. That’s how life works, somedays you have it all together, some other days you don’t. Getting motivated or staying motivated can be difficult, and it can lead to frustration.

For someone who has lived for over two decades, I have devised various means to get motivated and they have all been working for me so far and I don’t mind sharing them with everyone here.

One of the things I do when I need to be motivated is to exercise. It takes someone who is determined to exercise regularly without giving up.

Whenever I need to be motivated I hit the gym and do the needful. Surprisingly it works for me. Studies have proven that regular exercises helps to improve your mood which invariable makes you motivated. It is no rocket science, it works and I am proof of that.

When you exercise regularly, your body undergoes so many changes and one of those changes is reduction of stress and blood circulation which helps to give you clarity. A clear mind is a strong catalyst for motivation.

I also like to take long walks. Walking is no form of punishment to me, but a blessing in disguise. Walking helps to build your mood and energy. When you walk you are privileged to think, process things, and find solutions if possible. Since you are not talking to anyone while you walk, your brain is free from any form of stress and it works effectively making it easier for you to get motivated fr carrying out this simple activity.

Whenever I go for such walks, I come back feeling energized and ready to do anything. In the process of feeling energized and willing to do anything I can think of or see, I get motivated.

Lastly, keeping an open mind. You can get motivated by the least thing you expected. Do not ever condition your mind to get motivated only through a certain way or medium.
