I Used to Scroll, Now I Create

Without any doubt Hive changed the way I use social media. In fact, my friends used to say that I don't know the trending on Facebook because of Hive. If they sent me messages on WhatsApp, they have to call me on the phone to draw my attention because they know I am more active with Hive activities than any other social media platform.

There was one lady trending on Facebook back then over an assault on a child. I didn't get to know at all; my friends were just laughing at me and said, "I am not in this world." Can you imagine that? 😀

Before I found Hive, I used to be a scroller on many social media platforms, getting updates on the happenings around the world, burning my data nonstop, and burning my time without value or money. But Hive changed that for me. My use of the Internet became different. Hive made me become a creator rather than a scroller who consumes other people's knowledge.

I no longer read what others write but strive to create mine too. Every day of my life, I experience things and turn them into content. A lot that happens around me, my kids, my city, and my neighborhood becomes a post idea for good, and guess what? I love it. I became more conversate with my environment and the value it can add on the Hive blockchain if I should share it.

Hive taught me that I can create something meaningful from little happenings; at times that my ordinary life story is enough and for real, I became quite intentional even with my words. Being on the Hive platform gave me the space to always express my thoughts, tell some life stories, and have different people across the globe read them and give me feedback, and honestly, this increased my confidence.

My online friends in this space became real people even when I haven't met them physically; the connection has been unique. Hive also exposed me to different cultures and experiences, something I haven't experienced on other social media platforms. Honestly, how I spend my time on the Internet has changed ever since I found Hive Platform. You can't scroll without getting values; it's more of a productivity here, and that's why I give it more of my time than elsewhere I use the Internet.

Nowadays, whenever I open my phone, I don't only scroll to know what's happening online but also ask myself, what valuable content can I create today? And honestly, it's amazing!
