I visited dragon fruit farm

I hope life is treating you well wherever you are in the world.

For the last few months, I have been exploring different crops, and I am exploring some good options in horticulture. For that, I am trying to watch a lot of videos and also see how things are happening in this segment. I understand that watching video is not everything, because I also need to go on the ground and see some of the farmers who are doing this and learn from them which option is good.

For now, I am thinking a lot about the dragon farming. Because of that, I visited one of the farms, which is really doing great and is also popular on social media, but I do not rely on social media. Rather, I thought I should be visiting the farm physically to see how things happen.

This is such a big farm, and the farm is managed by the owner himself, which I liked because when we are not dependent on labor, it is a good practice in any business. Even in farming, it is good.

I am sharing some of the photos I clicked over there, and you can see that the variety of dragon is really good! This farm owner has got 117 varieties of dragon, which is really a big count, and I know that it is not easy to maintain. This farm is 8 years old, so obviously, in this period of time, anybody can gain good experience. I am new, so I need to learn each and everything. I need to spend a lot of time before I get started on this.

I spent about 3 hours there, and it was a good time that I spent on Sunday, but that's not all because I think even one visit is not good. I will be trying to visit this farm again and maybe some more farms as and when it is possible for me to visit, because Monday to Friday it is not possible for me to visit. The weekend is the only time that I can utilize for this purpose.

Dragon fruit is an exotic fruit, and it is in demand. In India, its price is really good, and I would say it is a little expensive. That's why not everybody can consume it in their day-to-day life. From a nutritional point of view, it is a good fruit, and it is a fruit which has come from a foreign country, countries like the Philippines, Vietnam, and probably Brazil. The fruit looks good, and since I am exploring the side of farming, hopefully I can go ahead with this, but it is too early to say. Thank you.
