Many companies currently struggle to make decisions and invest in the right AI path. Some companies even invest in unnecessary things and end up spending money that ultimately goes to waste. There is also one more thing here where AI is also changing rapidly, and in the last few months, there have been so many drastic changes in AI.

They say the donkey example for this scenario is that if there are two attractive things kept on the left side and right side of a donkey, the donkey struggles to decide which route to take and ends up starving to death. This should not be the scenario either. Decision making is powerful, and we have to do it at the right moment know to some extent how the market is moving and based on the demand and supply.
Solving the problem should be the best way to think when it comes to strategic transitioning. In the new era of AI, decision-making can be a little challenging. We might think of something, but the world is going very fast, and our thought process ends up becoming outdated. In such cases, we can probably keep going with the flow and stay up to date and be careful as well. Sometimes the performance of the company might be at its peak, and at that time, there is no harm in trying something new that is good for the organization. But when the performance of the company is very poor, and if we continue to experiment with things, it will be good if the new experiment becomes a success, but if it fails, it can impact the business to a greater extent.
Investing in new technology should happen when the business is going great and if we have room for experimentation. If we do it at the wrong time, the performance can be lower than what the company is already delivering.
