Lately, my heart has been burdened with thoughts. A lot going through my mind and in between I feel like probably if I had choosen a different profession then I might be doing a lot in that sector, not only performing my duty but trying as much as possible to change the system.

Even though I am not trying to make myself look like an alpha & Omega or great mighty doer, lives of people going carelessly due to lack of healthcare brings great pain and it makes me feel like if I had really been a medical doctor, I might have been an additional saver, saving the lives of people.
I'm not saying people in the profession as medical practitioners are not doing their best and at times they are only handicapped in performing their duties due to the failed system of the country and health system they found themselves in.
Just in a week, there has been records of how emergency patients are poorly attended to which eventually cost them their lives. So many prime lives that are not supposed to go yet but are forced to go because they did not receive adequate care. The worse one I heard about was a nurse who wasn't given oxygen after an asthma attack. Everything was plugged in but the oxygen was not turned on.
What's the essence of having various hospitals when they can't treat people or attend to emergency patients and these patients have to be rejected from like 7 hospitals before they get one to accept them and by that time, the life is lost already.

So if left to me, I'll choose a profession as Healthcare KAI (KAI here means STOP, DON'T) to bring out these less equipped and effective hospitals and wrap them up. We should rather have few number of good and efficient hospitals where people will have the original knowledge of the distance they need to cover to get to a sound hospitals where they are sure they will receive adequate care and attention. Not like stopping over 7 different hospitals, wasting time and exhibiting tension which indirectly affects the patients themselves of the awareness that they could pass on due to not being accepted by these hospitals.
I'll choose to be Hospital KAI and I'll gladly do it with honour. If the hospital can't treat patient, attend to emergencies or even provide oxygen, then they should probably not exist. No offense or insult intended.

Life is precious. However, it is appalling that we have many people without passion for the job. They allegedly have passion for the rewards and benefits thereafter. Hospitals are not helping matters, as some do not even have the necessary facilities to operate and render these services in the quickest possible time to save lives. In the end, people are just at the mercy of others who did not deserve to be in that profession.

I think that's just the root of the problem that you have just mentioned. They only took up the work or business because of the benefits and not because there's a special passion somewhere for it.
Thanks so much for your input
Spot on. That's what is obtainable in the regular work space, people seeking for frivolities rather than fulfilment and exceptional service delivery ๐ ๐
It's a pleasure having this time out with you. Enjoy the rest of your day.
