The Blossoming Orchids...

Last time, I shared some photos I took of a black ant crawling around a budding orchid. My focus was on the black ant, but I intended to take shots of the flower as well.

Actually, that particular flower bud blossomed the next day, but the other bud beside it was still closed. I took photos of them, but decided to wait another day until both of the flowers have fully blossomed. And they're actually really pretty! Let me show you!

This was the flower bud last Tuesday. It's still close... then the next day, this certain bud blossomed! :)

It lowkey looks like a Pokémon character? hahaha

The pattern and color are also really pretty... I'm thinking of creating a character based on this flower, one of these days.

In addition, I didn't notice it until I checked the photos... there's a little bug! It's not very clear, but you can see it near the center.

As I've mentioned earlier, there are two flowers, and the other one hadn't blossomed yet at that time.

However, it finally blossomed yesterday, so I took another set of photos of these two...

It seems to have a face with smiling eyes and is wearing something similar to a traditional Filipino dress. It was fun taking photos of these lovely blossoms. The color combinations as well as the patterns are really interesting.

I hope the other flowers blossom, too. I can't wait to take photos of them in the future. ^^
