Moths in the House... XD

Since living in the countryside, seeing a variety of insects around has been a normal occurrence. Not only do we spot them outside, but also inside the house.

Sometimes, I'll see some small grasshoppers or baby spiders here and there. I don't mind them, though. Well, it could be surprising when they suddenly jump or show up, but it's ok. I'm just glad that I haven't really seen huge cockroaches, just like when we were in the city. Well, there are small ones, but I can somehow manage. LOL

Among the insects that come inside our place are moths... and I personally find them interesting because they come in various shapes and sizes.

Recently, I photographed two different moths that I spotted inside the house. Let's check them out! :D

This is quite a huge one. It's not the biggest I've seen, but the color is lighter than the usual moths I see. Also, it hardly has spots or designs. It's simple, but still interesting to see. It stayed on the curtain near our dining area. We usually open that window during the daytime to let in some fresh air and natural light, and obviously, insects included. hahaha

These photos were taken yesterday. The size and color are quite usual, but the shape made it different. The silhouette looks like a bat.

It was actually on the floor of my parents' room, and I thought it was lifeless at first because it wasn't moving at all. I tried to get closer to check and perhaps take it out before our fur baby saw it, but when I did, it suddenly flew, going to the window screen.

I thought that its shape was cool, so I got my smartphone and took some photos. I couldn't get any nearer since it was a bit high up, and it was quite elusive. I'm just glad it didn't fly away when I turned on the flashlight on my phone while taking the photos.

I'd love to take some insect photos again, but preferably outside... so the lighting is better, and so is the background!
