One of my favorite things to take photos of is "Komorebi". It's a term from Japan that literally means light seeping through leaves. I find it comforting and encouraging at the same time.
It may be quite poetic in a way, because I feel that despite the obstruction, the light was still able to reach you. Somehow, we can perceive its beauty despite the things that obstruct it.
Here are some of the komorebi shots I took a few days ago.

It feels so serene... and looking at it makes you want to think and reflect. <3
Aside from these komorebi shots, there was something I wanted to experiment on in terms of photography. It's a pretty common trick, but it changes the subject a lot.
For starters, let me show you this picture.

I took this photo from a lower angle, keeping my phone on landscape mode. However, I wanted to capture that coconut tree and the sun in one frame, but from the same place.
I was inside the garage hiding from the bright sun that day. So what I did was switch to portrait, then flipped my phone upside down, with the camera almost on the ground... And here are the shots...

Then, here's a photo of it in portrait from a lower angle without flipping the camera upside down.

Isn't it interesting how a photo changes with just a simple trick? It's fun doing these things, so I'll try other stuff using my phone in the coming days.
That's it for now. Thanks for checking this post out, and see you around! (^^,)/
