Instant River c/o Typhoon Basyang...

There's an ongoing typhoon in our country. It has downgraded to a tropical depression today, but it still brought wind and rain in various places, including our area.

We had a power outage earlier this morning, but luckily it came back before noon. Well, it's not a problem during the daytime, but it would be super dark at night. I just hope there won't be any power outages later, or if it does happen, it won't last that long.

This morning, I went out as it was only drizzling. I tried to check the plants in the garden and also took some photos.

That's how it was in the morning... then later around noon time, it started raining more heavily.

I actually went out to take photos and a video of some birds flying around that tree. They were near the grass, so it was so fun to watch. There was no lightning and thunder, so I could leisurely go out. Otherwise, I'd be scared to, since we live in an open space. hahaha

The heavy rain continued, and I noticed that there was an instant river in front of our house all of a sudden. XD It's quite a low area, so the water from the higher places flew like a river and pooled near the road. Here are some shots I took.

It's still raining as I'm making this post. I just hope everyone is safe. It's not easy to have your place flooded. Anyway, I hope the typhoon ends soon, and we'll have more sunny days. It has actually been rainy the past week, so we haven't really taken care of our garden that much. We have a lot of cleaning to do following this typhoon. haha
