Well here is what happened in Disneyland. First of all I realized I could not take my camera because of its size so I opted for the much smaller Sony ZV1. That was the plan. The camera was in my luggage with a loaded battery (at least that was what I thought). I wanted to charge the other two batteries over night and of course I forgot them when we left. It was 4 am in the morning so it was kinda inevitable.
Unfortunately when I wanted to take a picture of the sun rising over the alps I realized quickly that I fucked up big time. The battery in the camera was empty. Exhausted to be precize. I couldn't even take one single image.
So I opted for my Iphone. It looks like crap. It has seen things. So the camera vision is sometimes not the best quality so to say.
It was amazing at first. We where a group of 8 with one baby a little older than a year. This slowed us down and I spent the same time waiting for our group to find each other in the crowd as waiting in the queue for the rides.
You hear constant music and chatter all over the place and there is hardly any spot where you can enjoy some lonetime or at least be with fewer people.
But. Huge KUDOS to the staff. Every single cast member was amazing and they knew everything about everything happening in the park at all times. No matter if you asked Mickeymouse or a staffmembers cleaning the floors they just could give you all the information you needed.
The shows, I watched a few but I did not take pictures there, I wanted to enjoy them. End I really did. The quality of the ensambles on stage was Broadwaylike.
I have seen quite a few musicals and musical shows in my life and I played my fair share on stage as well. Let's just say I am not fit for that tempo anymore. Dancers and cast members where changing costumes in an amazing speed and there was never a boring moment throughout any of theses shows.
When you enter Disneyland you first pass the security gate where all your luggage is checked and you walk through a metal scanner.
Then you can go to the The Disney Studios Park or to Disneyland
Today I will share the Disneyland experience.
Since Christmas is coming, everything is dressed in Christmas ornaments already. Let the journey start with my view of Disneyland, through the broken lense of an Iphone 11. It makes it look more dreamy haha.
We arrived in the park at about 12:00 and my first shock was how freaking expensive my burger was. 24€ to be exact. I decided not to have a beer for another 11€ and opted for the tap water.
I never would have booked this holiday today, but more than a year back it seemed like a fun Idea and we got our tickets really cheap compared to todays prices.
Every single building and every shop inside is dressed in festive style and the parades are also all christmas themed already.
I did not take any pictures of the parades because I mostly was just taking in the sight and enjoyed the choreographies. My father in law took a lot of pics on his sony 6600 and I hope he will share some pics on inleo soon.
There are a bunch of more images and I will just dump them here now in orderly fashion.
To me this park was as if I was on a gigantic disney LSD trip. The constant music from everywhere and the chatter of the crowd the smells of all sorts of food, it just completely takes you out of reality.
Much like Alice you feel like you are getting sucked into the rabbit hole.
There are two arcades next to the main street and you can get through them much faster then main street itself. Of course you also miss all the fun happening there too.
We went for this Labyrinth to the Castle of Queen of Hearts It was raining and it was quite cold so it was quite empty there.
All characters where talking to you whiule you made your way through the maze.
The Queen did not want to show I guess she got too much of rainwater.
The view from the castkle in the middle of the maze was amazing.
Don't get cought by the guards!
After the maze I met Mary Poppins and she had a lovely british accent. I had a very nice talk with them.
Frome here on the days blur for my and I am not sure what was when.
One of my dreams was to ride Space Mountain which now actually is called Hyperspace mountain, and this is a really cool rollercoaster ride through the Star Wars galaxy. You find yourself in a space battle and the look and feel is so real you feel like you are part of a movie.
No photos from the ride. You can not hold a camera while holding on for dear life. As can be seen on the next image.
This photo cost a fortune and I got it as a present. Otherwise this would not be here.
At the end of the second day we watched the lasershow and fireworks at the main square in front of the castle.
A huge crowd gathered and I was a bit worried seeing so many people. You barely could move and I just hoped nothing bad would happen because the slightest amount of panic could have done terrible damage.
The show was amazing though. The music the lights the choreography of the hundreds of drones some carrying fireworks as well.
It was a truly magical experience.
I will dump my favorite shots from the trip and hope not to upload any duplicates.
As always, thank you for your attention and time. I hope you liked this little trip through a part of Disneyland.

Thank you for sharing photos from your Disneyland Paris visit! !BBH
Looks like you had a lot of fun 😊 I have never been to Disneyland, but I've heard about long waiting times and ridiculous prices of food...
I would love to meet Mary Poppins too 😉

Really cute post with cute shots, especially for us who are still children 😇
Hallo!
Wir waren in den Herbstferien im Disneyland und da sah es doch deutlich voller aus als auf deinen Fotos.
Die Hyperspace Mountain hat schon Spaß gemacht. Da waren wir mehrfach drauf.
