Exploring Korean Culture [EN/PT]

This past weekend was a long one here in Brazil due to the All Souls' Day holiday on Monday. With an extra day off, a good idea was to take the opportunity to visit a Korean food and culture event that was taking place here in my city.

I must admit that I'm not a huge enthusiast of Korean culture, although I can see that there are plenty of people who are really big fans. It certainly seems to be gaining more and more popularity among the younger generation.

My son went with me, and we spent some time walking around the event, but we didn't eat anything. The prices were really high! I had no idea things could be that expensive. But well, I've noticed that this tends to be the standard at very specific events, so I usually go more for the outing and the experience than for the food, unless I come across something particularly interesting.

Anyway, these are some of the pictures I took of the food stalls, along with a few other things I found interesting during our visit.

Esse final de semana foi prolongado aqui no Brasil devido ao feriado de Finados, na segunda-feira. Com um fim de semana mais estendido, uma boa ideia foi aproveitar para visitar um evento de culinária e cultura coreana que estava acontecendo aqui na minha cidade.

Confesso que não sou um grande entusiasta dessa cultura, apesar de perceber que existem muitas pessoas que são verdadeiras fãs. Realmente parece que ela está começando a conquistar cada vez mais espaço entre essa nova geração.

Meu filho foi comigo e ficamos um pouco por lá, passeando pelo evento, mas não comemos nada. O preço das coisas era muito alto! Não imaginava que poderia ser tão caro assim. Mas bem, percebi que esse é um padrão em eventos muito específicos, então acabo indo mais pelo passeio e pela experiência do que pela comida, a não ser que encontre algo realmente interessante.

Mas essas foram algumas das fotos que tirei das barracas de comida, entre outras coisas que achei interessantes durante o passeio.
