My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2025

Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely day. For me it was a tiring day as I had lot of work to do both at home as well my work as I had to integrate APIs and do some UI rewrite in the Application that I am working on.

For dinner yesterday we had a light dish or you can say curry to eat. The yellow lentil or pulse whatever you say. My mom helped me cook the lentil in the cooker first and later I added the spices and fried it to make it spicier and tastier.

Let's go through how to make it.

Ingredients

  • Yellow pulse 1 bowl( 200gm)
  • 2-3 Onion
  • 1-2 tomato
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • Vegetable masala/maggi masala
  • salt
  • oil
  • ginger/garlic ( or you can use ginger/garlic paste)
  • black pepper powder
  • coriander leaves ( garnishing)
  • cumin seeds

Steps to cook

1 Boil

Do use the cooker and add lentil along with two cup of water and 1-2 tablespoon of salt as per taste. Cook on cooker until you get 1-2 whistle. It may take 5-10 minutes. Let it keep aside.

2 chop veggies

  • finely chopped onion
  • finely chopped tomato
  • small chopped ginger/garlic
  • small chopped chillies
  • chopped coriander leaves

3 prepare other ingredients

  • heat oil in a pan and then add 1-2 tablespoon of Cumin seeds. Stir it until roasted
  • then add chopped tomato and let it be roasted as well, followed by onion to be golden brown.
  • later when cooked add the ginger garlic paste or ginger/garlic(chopped)
  • add green chillies that we chopped
  • then add the maggi masala/veggie masala as per availability. Add 2-3 spoon as per taste. As we already salt in the last step no need to add again.
  • cook for 2 minutes and then add the boiled lentil in the pan and mix while on low flame for 1-2 minutes. Turn off flame and then add coriander leaves to garnish it.
  • later serve with salad including Onion, tomato, and cucumber with chappattis to increase the taste of your food.

That's it you are ready with Fried lentil that you can enjoy with Wheat chappattis or Parathas as well anytime.

Talking about other things, I have been feeling low today and rested for half day and woke up late than usual. The weather is also uneasy today and making me feel discomfort.
